Im thinking of getting an Xbox to PC converter from ebay... will my pads work so I can play DWI and Stepmania?

I haven't purchased any converters, but I made an Xbox -> USB cable to do the same thing, then used the XBCD driver (they have a DDR specific version of it) to get my Konami soft pad working under WindowsXP. Works great.

The only tricky bit is that you have to make sure the pad arrows get mapped to the buttons instead of to the UD or LR axis, since the system will refuse to believe that input can come from opposite sides of the axis at the same time.
