1. Playing with your hands in your pockets.
It's GAY, and you look GAY. You don't look cool, you look stupid. It doesn't benefit anyway, so why do it? If anything, it limits your movement, bringing down your overall performance.
2. Selecting the buttons with your feet.
I don't get it. What's the deal? Why does one feel the need to select songs by almost kicking the machine in an effort to intimidate the audience or to look like you know what your doing? It doesn't make sense, there's no need, therefore it annoys me.
3. Scrolling up and down, repeatedly between a song and its remix(es).
I mean really; it's one thing to listen to both mixes to see which one to choose, but to go back and forth for no apparent reason? WHY?! Usually this wouldn't be something to rant about, but it happens so often that I gotta have a say on it. |

I've got to admit that I have a few pet peeves of my own.
First and foremost....
I hate speed modders. I just don't get with everyone and speed mods. It makes me feel like all my work is for nothing if someone comes in and does better than me on a song I've been working my but off to AA or AAA only because they use speed mods. Otherwise most people would suck at alot of songs without speed mods.
If you really want to prove your skill then stop using the speed mods and play the song at it's natural speed. Geez that just gets at me.
Same for the bar rapers. I sorry that most you people don't have enough balance to stand on one foot for 10 seconds without falling over. But then again try doing the songs without the bar and I'll respect you more in the end.
Plus, it gets on my nerves when people come in and only sit there and mock you, and then make up some poor excuse the security that they wanted to play. Know the whole time that weren't going to play to begin with.
Next, I can't wondering children and their parents. They are just so danm dumb. UGH!!!! _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

What I hate is when your waiting for someone to finish and a little kid jumps in front of you like it's their turn or something. It's so annoying and can't do anything because there mom is right behind them being happy for them. I also hate watching little girls with sandals and they play. They always complain of thier feet hurting and ruining their sandals or whatever. |

The parent was HYSTERICAL and went ballistic on me. I whacked the kid pretty good, but not enough to give him a black eye thank goodness. >_< I honestly though that she was gonna bust a cap on my buttocks right there ad then! Thakfully, she didn't press child assualt charges on me and stormed out of the arcade w/ the crying little boy (yes, there are sue happy people where I live).
-Nasty buttocks fanboys SHADOWING while I'm DDRing. To me, that's mocking, not practicing. Get Stepmania or your PS2 modded if you want practice. Sit your buttocks down!
-The thug crowd. You think preps are worse? Not only do they think that white girl don't got rhythm, but they litterally try to shove me off the machine. Happened to me at one arcade until I busted out on Healing Vision and they were like "OH.... SHEOT!" Now who's the gawddamn queen, b*tch? >: P
and lastly....
-DDR machine that have pads that really suck. All because people don't treat the machine w/ great respect and SLAM their foot on the arrows nough to kock out a screw. One of my friends saw this one guy nearly break the DDR pad and hewas thrown out of the arcade. I weigh 123 lbs and there are some DDR machines w/ crappy pads that can't hold my freeze arrows.... all because these noobs are torturing the poor machine. |
amen to that one _________________

SHADOWING!!! My little bro does it to me all the time, and it drives me nuts. It doesn't help that he's horrible and stomps SO LOUD and SO OFF BEAT that he messes me up.
Also, all those guys that complain about the title. "Why is it called 'Dance Dance Revolution?' You're not dancing. And why do they say it twice, anyway? And where's the revolution in that game?"
Or make fun of DDRers in general.
And, like everyone else is saying before me, the psychotically annoying parents who put their 5-year old on the game next to me as if its the most wonderful thing in the world, and scream maniacally anytime the squirt takes a step (on the beat or otherwise), cheers when they watch the score tally up and he's got 0 perfects, 16 greats, and 84 goods, and a D, and look at me like I'm trash for being better than their kid and not letting them cut in line to play again. _________________

Giant Pet Peeve:
Talk along the lines of this: "ARGH!! I GOT (insert number less than 20) GREATS ON (insert 9/10 footer here)! I SUCK!" Geez, people, appreciate your score, hate it, maim it, bar rape it, do whatever you'd like about it. But please, for my sake and yours, keep the negativity in your head. It makes players like me who can barely pass 9s and such feel really low when you say things like that.
Smaller Pet Peeves:
-Young children on the pad. Not the parents, but the kids. It astounds me how many times they have to be asked/told/nudged/violently suggested to leave the pad.
-Screen glare. Though it (usually) can't be prevented, my glasses make the reflected light intense enough to be more than just a bother.
-People who share the pad with me playing singles and then attempt to/actually freestyle while I'm making my feeble attempt to PA. Is it really that hard to wait your turn and/or at least respect your pad partner? |

Amen
Usually if i'm in the middle of a song and a little kid nearly runs into me on the 1st player pad, i'll actually stop and look down and try to gently and kindly push him off and tell him to keep off. Nearly failed Saints Go Marching doing that. But I think i'm just going to start flailing when that happens lol _________________

People that run up and decide to shadow, then stomp to the arrows. What's worse is when they can't do the song, and play it so off beat. That really screwed me up.. |
