instead of a giant single thread for each. i think that would help with the discussions.

if you read through the threads, questions never get answered because they get lost in the thread.

also, some people don't want to read through a 50 page thread to find an answer to their question

Not to mention that:
1) People don't have to read all 50 pages. They can narrow the search utility to just that forum and keyword search.

2) We don't have sub-forum ability. And soft pads/hard pads do NOT need their own entire forum.

1) yeah, but a forum would be better way of organizing. also discussions get lost in one huge thread. 2 people talk about one thing. a third person comes in to ask a question. a fourth person answers question from third person. then first 2 people continue their discussion, etc, etc

also, questions asked within the huge thread don't get answered as it would if posted in separate thread of its own.

2) why not entire forum for pads then? i just did quick look and saw these threads related to pads on first 2 pages:

I definitely don't think we need to add another forum for topics that currently fit just fine into the existing set. I don't think there's enough of a delineation to separate it even more.

Yes, and all except for one of those are locked.

That X-BOX one I've been away from, so I haven't gotten around to locking it.
It does get tedious.

This issue is brought up again and again.

The stickey's are there for a reason, we do NOT need a new forum for pads, otherwise it'd be filled with tons of threads for the same couple of pads, believe me, it's already happened.
