Well, we cheated, they (Might have) found out, and did a little cheating themselves. We should not bite their heads off just for sinking to our level. Besides, it's ALL in opinion. In MY opinion, DDR should not have come in 15th, but my opinion is just about as relevent as the crap in an out-house.

People all this just over a stupid list?

And i thought that ddr players had better taste. Some of you guys are beginning to sound like the FF fanboys.

Besides, just be glad they acutally had the intellengence to put a game thats diffrent from the rest on the list.

NOTE: They did know about the cheating, there not that stupid.

Wow, I haven't seen this many whiners since an antiwar protest.

1. It's just a show. It's not like DDR's going away or even becoming unpopular because of its place in MTV. Hell, kids aren't going to say 'DDR? I'd play it, but it only came in 15th on MTV.' It can only become more popular because of this.

2. Being #15 has the advantage of being the first game shown, making the most lasting impression. If someone doesn't feel like sitting through the whole thing, at leasst they'll probably have seen DDR.

3. The DDR segment was pretty damn good. It was a pretty accurate representation, using real DDR songs instead of the usual MTV background music.

4. The show was pretty entertaining too.

5. XBox does not suck. I'm enjoying it much more than my PS2, and that's even without Ultramix. I like Morrowind better than most other RPG's. (No more console flaimbating, okay?)

I'm just glad DDR got on the list. I didn't expect it would be more than number 10, but it surprised me when it came at number 15. Oh well, it's not like they gave money to the winners of certain places. I'm glad Zelda got first. And the scenes from Halo 2 were really awesome. [/opinion]

Wow, some people are getting really fired up over this. True, I think DDR should have been higher on the list and there are some games that I think got a higher place than they should have, but it's not a big deal. Just because DDR got last place isn't going to stop anyone from playing right? *looks around hopefully*

My opinions:
1. #15 is better than #199
2. Zelda DOES rock enough to get first
3. Nintendo did kinda go a-wall with the pikmin (it was just to show the GCN's processing power. Rember 1oo marios? I personally couldnt love the GCN more than i do now.)
4. MTV has good shows, but many faults
5. FF got 4th, not 2nd? what?
6.Sims IS great
7. No one really cares
8. Being 15th and first to be shown kinda balances it out
9.DDR should have gotten a higher place
10. we all sound like fanboys.

Wow, that was great! Thanks a bunch for it, they really did a pretty damn good job.

For the uninformed, you need the divx codec to watch that, I had 5 and it played just fine.

Hrmm, DDR being #15? Not surprising... least it made it on there. No way it should've been below some of the other titles, but hey, news flash: TV stations have their own agenda too!

DDR segment wasn't half bad...

Saenoda = hotness, and should've scored way higher on SexiestGamer.com -- damn, my 10's didn't help.

Watching bar-hugging PA? Not my cup of tea, but whatever...

Watching Seattle freestyle? Got damn, I nearly threw a bowling ball through the TV after see THAT be used as representation of DDR.

The only thing that halway sucked was that Enos had told me he gave MTV a bunch of footage of me and a bunch of RTF guys doing FS, as well... eh, I guess I'll settle for being in that GameStop infomercial. *heh*

TANGENT:
Anyone else think the Soul Calibur II segment was ridiculous? I mean, Jason Arnie, great player and all, calling SC2 a SPORT??? Got damn, TELL ME HE DIDN'T SAY THAT. *rolls eyes* Oh the athleticism it takes to dial-up a Taiwanese phone number on a controller...

But yeah, that's my take on it all. DDR = sport-like, SC2 != sport.
