April, 1999: First started playing DDR when I found out about a place mentioned in a magazine called Tips & Trick (editor is Larry Flynt) featuring a Token from Cyberzone Arcade in Koreatown. Checked the place out & found that DanceDanceRevolution 1.5 version out there. Played the first song "Have You Ever Been Mellow" on Basic mode, failed miserably & started to leave. If it hadn't been for a person named Jenith (Bum Suk) who told me how to play the game, I would have never got into the DDR craze. Now I just play on the weekends, even thought I can't play those 9-10 footers now--too old to play DDR! I'll try to go for 50+ DDR ARCADE LOCATIONS this year. But just practice a lot & you'll get used to the groove! Is that a trip or what? Please reply, over! Thanks!

Basement of someone's house at a party, my friend and I were the only ones down there. Earlier that night we said to ourselves we weren't gonna watch people play ddr (max on ps2) all night long, cuz we thought it was kinda stupid. Then we figured ah what the hell.. might as well try it since we're alone.

Must have played RNP light 1000 times that night. Been hooked since E1.gif

I had never dreamed Id be as good as I am now. I had passed up (me and my friend) everyone in my arcade by far. But thats because I used to play 6 hours a day straight for weeks..(during summer) E4.gif E15.gif

I saw people that could get 20 greats on Exotic Ethnic Heavy, when I was just getting into standard. Needless to say, I was sitting there going "OMFG!!!!!"

I'm down to 33, so yeah, I never expected to be this good.

I never expected to be where I am at passing quite a few 9 footers and even getting stuff down like galloping I still need to learn to do croos-overs and pivoting but that'll come with more practice i know it.
