DWI has less loading, IMO. You can at least use a command line option to skip the automatic song rebuild and get to the game screen that much faster. DWI's got a minimum of steps to go through as well before you start playing songs; StepMania tries to be a fricking arcade machine and make you go through all the useless screens before you get to play. As far as processor power, etc. needed, I think DWI's less intensive than SM, so if you have an older computer or a not-so-fast one, go with DWI. |

Err... it always says machine record... on alpha 10 anyway.
Funny thing was, even setting the judge scale factor to like 9999999 in stepmania.ini (so that you can basically hit the arrow anytime and still get a marvelous; it doesn't even have to be in order), I STILL couldn't do the Pledge, because I couldn't hit the arrows that many times in such a short time. I had to use a SECOND cheat; namely a macro that just hit each arrow every millisecond for 2 minutes (thus the NoHolds mod).
Oh, and trixt3r, that's the Trance Machina Skin. Get the skin here:

Like all skins, it won't work properly on alphas 9 or 10 (unless you add a whole LOT of blank entries to the metrics file, like I did; takes about 10-20 mins). Zhek, the guy who made it, is currently working on a fourth version that will work with those versions, along with a few other changes. It's not done yet, but when it is, it'll probably be posted here. |

I have a screenshot but I'm too lazy to convert it from bitmap to jpg then upload it to my site then link it here when people know I already accomplish what I say because a long time ago I put out a vid of myself (and the stepmania judge difficulty before I started) B'ing club and that was like 6-8 months ago
and don't IM me on aim being like OMG OMG CAN YOU SEND ME because I don't have it. It was 40 frick megs okay. If you want it that bad, ask SheepCounter on the gamefaqs bemani boards, he has it. |

Oh btw...Arch I got 4 grts on Bag (Japan Mix) Oni..... I was soo mad because those should have been perfects if my computer didn't lag for a sec from my girlfriend Im'ing me.

theres something about those freezes on payon that i just CANNOT do, even if it depended on my life
and WOW gj on A 1.5 music speed. Some impresive stuff right there
