Hey I was wondering there must be a ratio of Perfects and Greats you have to achieve to get AA right? Cos recently on DDR Extreme I comboed Spin the Disc (28 greats i think) and Dead End (like 90 somethin ) but I only got A. What do you people think? |

think of it this way...
say your playing an 8 foot song (ig. spin the disc heavy) an AAA you would have to score a possable 80mill points out of 80mill. therefore i beleve 75mill would be AA 70-74 is an A and 69-60 is a B. see where the # of feet is how many 10 of mill you have too look at when getting ranked. so you can look at your score instead of your perfect/great ratio because it would be differant on almost any song. hope this helps and dosen't confuse |

Hey sorry i'll take note of it in the future.
Thanks Jeffreyw! I never really thought of the points hehe.. guess I was too busy focusing on the Perfects and Greats. |

To get an AA you must:
1. Get on the DDR machine
2. Select a song
3. Select mods (if any)
4. Walk off the pad
5. flick the machine off
6. if it's a nice machine it'll give you an AAA, but if it doesn't like you it'll just give you an AA.
Well, that's how I do it, maybe other people have different ways.

points dont matter
perfects are +2 dance points
greats are +1 dance points
goods are 0
boos take away 4
misses take away 8
using that, see how many dance points you have, then divide that by twice the number of steps in the song, and if your result is .93 or above, you got an AA _________________

SERIOUS POST TIME.
Ok think of it this way.
Perfect = 2
Great = 1
Good = 0
boo = -4
Miss = -8
BUT, if you get a miss it counts for -10 greats, because of the +2 greats you would of got if you would of gotten a perfect, and a boo as -6 greats and good as -2, so let's put this into a scenario.
Maxx Unlimited Heavy, let's just SAY that an AA is 100 greats or less
Perfect 500
Great 91
Good 6
boo 0
Miss 0
This person wouldn't AA it because he/she had a total of 103 greats, 3 greats over the total amount you can get.
But yeah, it's 93% perfects, I just wanted to try to explain why Misses and Boos dealt so much damage on trying to AA a song. |

I think 7/8ths have to be perfect, and boos and misses take away chances of getting an AA. _________________

If you FC a song without freeze arrows, you need at the very least...
6.15 perfects for every 1 great.
123 perfects for every 20 greats. |

Score doesnt matter... Dance points are what makes all the difference.
(taken from www.aaroninjapan.com)
Perfect = 2 Dance Points
Great = 1 Dance Point
Good = 0 Dance Points
Boo = -4 Dance Points
Miss = -8 Dance Points
OK = 6 Dance Points
NG = 0 Dance Points
AAA = 100% of the total number of Dance Points
AA = At least 93% of the total number of Dance Points
A = At least 80% of the total number of Dance Points
B = At least 65% of the total number of Dance Points
C = At least 45% of the total number of Dance Points
D = Below 45% of the total number of Dance Points
So theres really no easy way of working out in your head what you need to get a certain grade... _________________
