Which is better?

Ok so far ive played DDR for a good while (home version with controller because my dance mat sux), and now its time for me to make a dicision: what should i get DDR Max or DDR Max 2

Mind you I like the old school songs from the origional DDR (because its the only DDR game i own). Which is better?

Ok, first off: This is a home version. Post it in the Console.

I'll still give you my opinion.

Max1 was good because it has Oni Mode. (which i can;t even pass lesson oni BTW) It had some good old songs, but nothing too great.

Max2 was good because Nonstop and Endless mode. Some nice songs. Check over the songlists and wichever has the songs you can recognize, you might wanna get.

But, IMHO, MAX2 came up short. Yeah, it's got your So Deep and your MaxX Unlimited, but they took out great songs like Living in America and It's Raining Men (you know you love it. admit it. you know it's raining men) to put in Days Go By and Love at First Sight.

This would be my suggestion to you:

MAX>MAX2>Konamix If you wanted US versions.

Japanese is TOTALLY different, needing modchips to solder or flip top mods to install, or just buying a JPS2.

Most of the Japanese games have more KO's. I like that.

Thanks. I was actually leaning toward DDR Max1.
Im suprised that it dosnt have endless or workout mode.....or does it?

MAX does not have Endless.

I think ALL Home versions have Workout mode. Or at least the 2 you are dealing with.
