This is probably a stupid post, but I'll try it anyway.

Have you ever felt wierd for liking a certain song, or have you been criticized for enjoying a certain song? First, let me say that you shouldn't feel ashamed. For those who don't know, here's a scenario:

My friend loves the song "Forever Sunshine", and gets so embarassed when she dances it (so do I). Maybe its because it's ol school, but we just feel wierd. Anyone else just feel odd dancing songs like these?

I feel the same way too!

Espicially (sp?) about Love Love Shine. It's kind of odd to see a guy play that. When I play, I feel sow akward that the word "Love" Then becomes "cigarette" in my mind...

BTW, Check the Arcade forums. They have a thread a couple of pages long that feel just like you and I do

My favorite songs are Love <3 Shine and Breakdown...but it doesn't come off as strange, because I'm a girl, so whatever...

I also have an liking for all the E-Rotic songs, but I'm sure that's not too unusual.

I figured that if I liked the song it wouldn't really matter. When I first started playing I would say that I was a little embarassed by some of the songs I picked, but it's been so long that now I really don't care which songs I pick or what people think of the songs I pick.

Love Shine, Love Again Tonight, and... oh yeah, Nori Nori Nori. Just to name a few. I also find it thoroughly amusing to freestyle to It's Raining Men when there's a lot of people around. The best part is that I'm a crappy freestyler, to boot.

same here. im a guy and i like all those girly"ish" songs on ddr like love love shine, love love sugar, breakdown, and nori nori nori just to name a few.

but i just dont like the song forever sunshine. i thought it would be cool because it had the word sunshine but it wasnt to me.

I used to feel bad about certain songs, but realized if I cared what people thought, I wouldn't do DDR at all. Just remember how important other people's opinions should mean to you.
