Hey guys, a couple years back I discovered a trick by myself to get images via Geocities directly linked. This is pretty easy. Here's how to do it:
1- Upload your image in file manager (picturehere.jpg)
2- Rename the image in the Geocities file manager to picturehere.jpg.txt
3- Save, and now the file name has two endings on it.
When you use the IMG tag, type in the URL http://www.geocities.com/blabla/picturehere.jpg.txt . When you goto Geocities, it will notice the JPG tag and show the image. But, the end tag is .txt and by default you can link .txt files directly with Geocities.
Therefore it's a little trick to pass by the system - although I'm quite sure it's no big deal to Geocities - I've been using it for over two years.
Here's an example of a picture I am directly linking
Enjoy, now you can use Geocities images in your signatures or whatever! |

Not only is this a relatively well known trick, but it has nothing to do with actual DDR. _________________
