I have one of those cheapo pads that i got off ebay for 12 bucks a pair. I threw on a red octane cover on it, and its my favorite pad it even beats out my ignition pad in my opinion (sometimes the ignition pad doesnt register).
anyways, my problem is the following: i live in an apartment building and the people that live under us always complain about hte noise when we play ddr. i play on a hard carpet. my pad is flat against the carpet with nothing underneath.
is there anything i can do to lessen the noise i make when stepping? any suggestions? also where can i buy some more cheap pads that are reliable (somewhat)? thanks |

i think if you can somehow raise or cushion the ddr area then the noise ammount will lower.... maybe if you put under an insert like they do in the ignition pads.. |
