hi i'm looking to get EMS USB 2 adapter. although PS Joy Converter (USB) seems higher rated, i don't want to spend $40 on two of them (i want to use two pads).

anyhow i read that a batch of EMS USB 2 were bad. is it now safe to buy one? anyone bought one recently? will levelsix.com exchange if i get a bad one?

I wouldnt recommend an ems usb 2 though since me and plenty of other people have the problem of lag. the lag issue is common for most people with an ems usb2. so be forewarned that you'll prolly end up getting about a 1/4 second lag for each step

what do you use? what do you recommend i get for 2 players then?

it seems like it's either ems usb2 or PS Joy Converter (USB) which would be really expensive for 2 player. i mean come on, they should be charging $10 max for each.

I don't know why people keep reporting lag...
is it Windows XP? (I have 2000)
is it the latest edition (the edition after the voltage problem was solved... I got the edition before the one with the voltage problem...)

but mine works perfectly. I play beatmania with it and everything is timed fine.
