|
|
I'm currently using one of the cushioned soft pads, but it's taking a beating, so I'm considering a RO or CF metal pad. What concerns me is that I live in an apartment. The cushioned pad does a good job of absorbing the sound and impact of the jumps, but I'm worried that a metal pad might cause some problems for the people living below me. Can anyone comment? Thanks... |

Well, if I jumped up and down on my floor wearing socks, you can be sure the people downstairs would hear it. You're telling me a metal pad would absorb all that sound? |

Thanks for the recommendation, but that's not what I was asking. |

depends on how hard you hit withyour foot, and how heavy you are, it definitely makes sound you can probably use some external stuff to limit it, but the cobalt flux would probably not be enough by itself to filter the sound out enough to stop complaints form neighbors. |

If you play with socks it shouldn't make that much noise.

You -could- try putting the pad on a layer of blankets too (make sure your pad is still level though) as long as the grip from the bottom of the pad would stay on it.
You could try to soundproof your pad too by filling up empty spaces with something. |
