To date the only 10 foot songs are Konami Originals.
2 by RevenG (bag and sakura)
Omega - Max 300
Zeta - Maxx Unlimited
Double Zeta - The Legend of MAX
270 - Paranoia Survivor
290 - Paranoia Survivor MAX
Genom Screams (forgot the artist)

R3 was upped to a cata on Double on Extreme with Freeze arrows worked into it.

When selecting Oni mode on Extreme it displays "Challenge Mode" instead of "Challenging Mode" like it did in Max2.

PARANOiA has the most remixes out of any other song (very obvious)

That's all I got off the top of my head. And sorry if Zeta and Double Zeta aren't how you say the artist names for Maxx and LoM it's just the way I say them.

On Konamix, Genom Screams was an 8 footer, in EXTREME, new Doubles steps were added with freezes, and it(doubles only) changed to a 10

Fact: Whether you know it or not, you did NOT misspell that. Perfect French. Now go join a spelling bee.

Fact: A Stupid Barber is actually the song used for the MAX2 US Lesson mode Lesson 2 part.

Opinion, but seems like a Fact: A Stupid Barber is awesome!!

I thought they allow you to play the songs they give you on lesson mode. I've never tried the max2 lesson mode though.

Not exactly. If you're talking about being able to play a lesson mode song in game mode, the first MaxUS didn't have Let Them Move and Higher.

However, if you complete the first 7 sections of any lesson, Section 8 is the entire song, just with 1-2 footer steps.

In that sense, I "AAA"'d A Stupid Barber on Max2 E13.gif

Did you know that in extreme, every brilliant 2 you has oni steps.

Also did you know that if you play any song that has a good string of steps like single, double of triple steps, every time and arrow is susposted to be hit, the light around the speaker lights up.
Example: if you are playing Last Message, during the stream in the middle, the lights blink with every arrow but this will not work with hard songs with too many arrows at one time like on bag.

Here's another piece of DDR trivia:

Did you know that, on Maxx Unlimited, when the synthesizer comes in the first time (where the crazy freeze arrow patterns start) and the percussion mostly drops out, the song actually slows down to 280? It speeds back up to 300 when the percussion enters in again.

The Reflex speeds up from 126 to 127 around the middle. Wow.

Maxx Unlimited Heavy steps sample So Deep's Heavy steps.

Naoki has an unlockable character to represent himself in 5th Mix.

The only way to unlock DDR 5th Mix is to go through the game options screen, which requires opening the machine itself and accessing the test menu from buttons inside.

DDRMAX (6th Mix) only had 30-something songs, and was the only Mix to not have any version of Paranoia on it. It was however the first mix to feature freeze arrows and the groove radar.

hes talking the arcade version of Max. Although I've never seen one in person, I'm pretty damn sure that he is correct that there's only like 30 or 31 songs on it. All of them are brand new songs, with no songs from previous mixes in it.

With all the talk of Kakumei and V, I can't belive this hasn't come up; I guess no one knows anything about the 'ole classic DDR songs: End Of the Century is based on Beethoven's 9th Symphony (AKA Ode to Joy). The credited artist for EotC is "No. 9" (as already mentioned, that's actually Naoki).

Irob wrote:
The start of Twinbee ~Generation X~ coincidentally is up up down down left right left right. (Twinbee was a game made by Konami)

And it continues, if you turn to the right.... rrlludud, dduurlrl, llrrdudu... the background video for the song also contains clips of someone doing REALLY well at the Twinbee game. (thread) Other songs are based on theme music from old Konami games as well (Burning heat, I believe, for one), but they still haven't used Catlevania, which is DUMB of Konami (and that's a FACT!)

And Holic is not just 4/4. It's wacky. Ditto with Cuttie Chaser. (mixed througout this thred)

I am the king of trivia!

And I stumbled on this trying to figure out why 573 is so important. (It's question 3, near the bottom.)
