Hi, I'm Dryad! I've been here, obviously, since the "big bang" and still no one likes me.
Sana, 5.1.1., Miracle Moon, Hot Limit, Spin The Disc and Kakumei are the shizzle.
bye!

I should have posted in this earlier...
My real name is Janielle (jen-nell) and I am 14!
Had DDR for about 8-9 months now. Only played for probably 6-7 months (took a 2 month break for unknown reasons). I am really into the game now!
I live in Corona ca. I am a common player at Chuck E Cheese in Corona because I have no other place to go. You might see me there this Wednesday afternoon! (probably around 3:00-5:00 I will be there, but I have to see).
I am probably considered an average/intermediate player. Most of the time I play standard songs (5,6,7 footers).
I am still trying to pass a heavy song!! I am looking for players from Corona who are around my age (doesn't matter if you are older). Any players out there??? Especially if they go to Norco High School... |

Hello everybody, my name is Dan, or Hansi, whatever you feel like calling me.
I was first introduced to DDR 8 days ago, when a friend and I went to an arcade. I tried it out, and got a 'B' my first dance on A Minute. I was instantly hooked, I absolutely loved it! About every other day since then I went to Regal Cinemas 16 in Peoples Plaza to play it. I do not own the game, but I am saving up to do so.
Currently, the 6th time I ever played the game, I can do Light on all songs, Standard on many of the songs , and Heavy on 1 song: A Minute. 3 days ago I met with a few people form here at Regal Cinemas, and was told about this site; thus, I joined. Right now I'm feeling pretty good about myself and I hope that I can become a better DDR dancer. _________________

*peeks around the corner*
Heya everyone! My name's Mandy, and I'm from Alberta, Canada. I'm just learning how to play DDR. I tried it at a friend's house not long ago, and I'm now completely addicted, and I want to get better. (at least mum and dad said they're buying me DDR Ultramix for x-box this christmas and some dance pads, so I can only improve, ne? ) I found this place randomly searching up DDR sites, and I love it. Lots of spiffy stuff here.
Well, I suppose I should be going now... see you all around! |

Hey everyone, my name is Chris, I'm 25 and I'm relatively new to DDR.
Semi comical story ahead...
My friend bought DDRMAXX2 about a month and a half ago in response to a physiotherapist that said (due to a broken elbow) that he would not be able to play guitar OR play videogames for about two weeks.
--to paraphrase, I beleive the words out of his mouth we're "Bugger that for a lark" and in the time it took a bus to get to the mall he had bought Maxx2. Thus two DDR nuts were born.
I just got my copy of Ultramix on the 22nd. No huge accomplishments so far. My best was a B on Ready, Steady, Go! 7ft. |

Hello all... My name is Andrew and I've been in the DDR scene for about 2 years. I've been faithfully playing at my local arcade and love playing in the summer cause I average about 50 people watching me at once ( not total lol ) on a weekend night ( I live at the shore, tourists love to watch DDR ). I can do just about every 9 foot song in exsistance and am currently working on those damn hard 10 steppers.
Thats all she wrote folks. _________________

Hiya peoples! I just joined the forum, and it looks really cool! Um. I've been to a lot of forums and such(One that's almost like this, except it's Rockman based and DDR based), so I'm pretty clear on rules, but I'll check 'em out anyway! I live in Chicago and I have been playing DDR for two years. Startign with Konamix for PS1. Then MAX, then MAX2. My favorite(sp?) songs are Kakumei, which I can get a B on on heavy(First try! XD), and Burning Heat, which I'm still working on Heavy, and then ENd of the Century, I can A that song, and get all greats and perfects(265 combo I believe)I love playing DDR 'cause all my friends play it. Um..Yea. I think that's a good introduction. SO umm..
^^Hi!
OH and I forgot, I'm short for my age. 4'7"....XD I get made fun of, but I don't give, I kick 'em in the shins and run! And hi again! _________________

Hi folks. My name is irrelevant, but I use the nickname Nytris Oxyde. I'm a fifteen year old kid from New Jersey. I seek informatiopn about the world of DDR and its songs. Player-wise, I'm on a five-foot level.
My brother, however, is a different story. He's a good player, averaging B's on nine foot songs. I'm the one who showed him the original step charts, and introduced him to the site.
Excuse me if I sound a little n00bish while asking questions, bu tI'm just getting used ot posting in this forum. _________________

Hey people, what's up. My name is Neil, AKA Thumper for the way I hit the quick notes. I'm 18 years old, and I've been playing DDR once a week for about ten months now.
I'm the best player in my town, though it's only about 33,000 people, but it's something. I can't actually dance worth crap, but I can play DDR like nobody's business.
Oh yeah, I lost about 30 pounds playing, too; so if anybody tells you that video games are for lazy fat people, tell 'em to suck your sweet feet.
Other than that, I don't have much to say, so I close off with this:
"Those who dance are considered insane by those who can't hear the music." |

Sup... well since this is DDR thread might as well talk bout DDR... I have two friends who are like DDR maniacs and they talked me into buying MAX and MAX2 recently for PS2... it's a decently good game... although not exactly my favorite style of songs but eh... sorta disappointed that they didn't have the song "Butterfly" --> best song I heard on it... well I probably not good enough to unlock it yet cuz both my friends say it's on MAX... orion.78 is pretty hilarious song... tried it on heavy mode... wow... _________________

Haha.. thumper that is the funniest poopy I've ever heard:
"I can't actually dance worth crap, but I can play DDR like nobody's business."
And it's true too... weird... although I can dance (actual dance)... I'm not great at DDR... guess it's vice versa _________________
