My parents depise DDR - because it makes me do bad things. I run away to the arcades often without telling them, spend too much money, beg them for rides (only one more year till I'm over that one), make them pick my friends up...So yeah, they've grown a hatred for it that runs pretty deep.

My younger brothers are on opposite sides of the coin. The one closest in age to me started playing once he realized how cool it was, but he thinks he's the best, and that gets on my nerves. The youngest one keeps saying he'll start playing, but he never does.

Everyone in my family plays, either at the arcade or on stepmania (mostly stepmania)

My mom and dad don't mind, it keeps me outta trouble. and there's nothing else i'd probably do. I really enjoy playing this game.

My brother... He used to play DDR and he was The best there was in, like the state! but he got out of it becouse it didn't challange him anymore. He didn't even like to do dubble-pad mode because "It made his songs esier." shocked.gif He ws the one who inspired me to start playing 5 YEARS AGO (you'd think I'd be better) E2.gif
Now he doesn't play at all and is a mortal enemy of anyone who does play. I passed him up a long time ago because of him getting out of practice and the introduction of 10-footers.
He hates me now. he abuses me every moment of every day. He'lll beat me up or insult me, whch also hurts E2.gif But I'll never give up DDR no matter what he says or does! DDR FOREVER!!!!!!! left.gif up.gif down.gif right.gif biggrin.gif

My parents don't mind me playing DDR. The adults in my family always says that "it's a good workout" and its true. My dad doesn't mind me playing, but i kinda get annoyed when he mimimcs me while I'm playing...embarassing isn't it ? He even allows me to go to tournaments and gatherings ! Supportive ain't he ?

My bro was the one who got me into it, along with our friends as well. Today, my brother dislikes it, cuz well...it got boring to him and he always says to me that its pointless to go to a DDR tournament or gathering, especially when its pretty damn far from us. Who gives a damn anyway ? I love having fun ! He even told me that some freestylers are killing it, cuz most of them dance like a bunch of monkeys. But I don't have a problem with that, since that IS his opinion. And as for some of my friends who got me into it, some of them play occassionally, like 2 or 3, and most of them just got sick of it and stopped playing for good.

my mom says its a waste of money. my sister says its lame. they however haven't tried it. the only people who don't like ddr are people who haven't tried it or are just plain mean.

Brother - he plays one nine footer (woohoo.....)
Mom - Despises it, "it is too loud, quit that!"
Dad - Thinks it is pretty cool, good workout.
Dog - Just sits in the chair staring at me ( I bet they think we are crazy )

SO yeah,
