ok, i think i can understand this E19.gif

could you please retype it if it isnt to much trouble

and as for the answer, it sounds like you abused the hell out of your pads, so that isnt to shocking. but if it is one of the cheezy 20 dollar ones, go out and get another one, and if it is something you got online, go to the side, present the question there

It is a general proven fact that you get what you pay for. The whole soft mat debate is questionable without mods, but a nice $100 pad made of metal and easily repairable contacts seems to be good too.

General $100 pads can be a bit fuzzy. That's not a good choice unless you want to modify it so that it has sheet metal contacts. If you want an out of the box solution, go with RedOctane Ignition. I've heard that the metal one isn't happy yet, so wait until the release the new version of that.

I too have the same problem. My ignition gave out after two and a half months last Thursday (20, November, how ironic erm.gif ) and yes, the down arrow had a big gaping tear underneath it, exposing the sensor disturb.gif . Now I'm desperately finding a long lasting solution to this problem of Ignitions crapping out at about the rate of two and a half months. However, my friend got both his Ignitions on EBay (the Cypher Games pads) a year ago and still hadn't let him down (except for the one he doesn't use, the sensors stick E2.gif .). I was wondering if there are other people that have the same story with their Ignitions lasting for more than a year.
