Aww, It's not a big deal. All you need to do is unlock them again and wait a couple seconds after the memory card saves or loads until you turn off your PS2. If you pull it out or turn off the PS2 while you are loading/saving, then your memory is likely to be corrupted.
At this point, there is nothing you can do to save it. _________________

I have the same problem. I just started to unlock all the songs again. I think that is all you can do. My mem card stays in 24/7 and it still go corrupted. only my max file. I had just about everything AA and some AAA on light. The only thing that I didn't have AA was max 300. With the one good I didn't have enough perfects to AA. SUCKS. |

That happened to me thrice with DDRMax and once with DDRMax2.
My advice: Suck it up and do everything over. _________________

The good thing about it is it increases replay value, you want to unlock more and more unless you don't want to... _________________

Was that this happened out of NOWHERE....I never took the memory card out or put it in at the wrong time when it was loading or saving. Since this happened to so many people, is this something that randomly happens because of the game itself? _________________

No, it's definitely user based. Either someone turned the game off during a DO NOT TURN THE GAME OFF NOW screen, or you only turn the PS2 on and off with the switch in the back (which is known to corrupt cards the same way).
There's no way to recover a lost save data, so just start over.
And this belongs on Console Games if you have any further questions. _________________
