what's your style when you play ddr?do you bar rape?use mods?freestyle?just what do you do?

the only thing i EVER bar rape on is max 300, ill occasionally use speed mods and the day I freestyle will be the day hell freezes over.

My style is more rhythm based. I put a lot of emphasis of steps to add to the effect of a hard songs.

I just recently started doing endurance music, I usually just play what I like no matter what the difficulty was, that dosen't seem to be too popular now days so I only play the 9s and 10s.

I'm against speed mods, as I am against bar raping. I don't freestyle much, but sometimes I turn around. I have a passion for freeze arrows + crossovers, and the really sugary-pop music puts me in a fantastic mood.

I like to close my eyes when I play, to really commune with the music. I don't do it that often, because there aren't many songs I have completely memorized...But I love it. Really, try it. It's a great feeling.

I slap my hands against my thighs at the completion of freeze arrows, and on really long ones, I'll put my hands out like I'm surfing. It helps for balance on pads with bad responses, but now I just do it for fun. My friends hate it when I do that, but that's never stopped me before, and probably never will.

I have a bad habit of missing a whole run, because of one step. Thank God it doesn't happen very often.

If I want to pass/A/AA a song, I will play that song until i do so, despite how tired i am. This is probably why i always have a gallon of water with me when i DDR...

I play flat-footed unless I'm playing a ten-footer, I use x1.5 on everything except Drop Out, Across the nightmare, Mikeneko Rock, and the ten-footers, and I refuse to touch the bar. Ever.

I tend to freestyle alot. I do some break (with what the limited space i have allows for) and i do alot of foot sliding tricks. I can also get pretty tricky with the bar. But i don't bar rape when i do play techinal.

I tend to use 1.5x for anything below 240BPM, unless it's a reading challenge like Bag, MSL or Secret Rendezvous

As for bar raping... only on real 10 foots (ie not Sakura) and even then only as a means to an end. Besides I find the bar doesn't help me all that much anyway; on Saturday I passed Max300 with a bar, the next I managed it without, albeit only once out of the three or so times I tried; the other two times I had to grab the bar in the end or I just failed outright.

Then again this is on a Euromix 2 so I'm not good enough at Max300 to be able to pass on Extreme. Getting there though. I tend to be more of a survivor though; I just get to the stage where I can consistently pass a song and then move on. These days I'm doing a lot more doubles too.

Also I want to freestyle but unfortunately my memory skills are a bit pants

if i try n bar rape my foot can't reach the front arrow. so i usually just sit there like a statue doing what the arrows tell me. i can't freestyle. i dont even wanna try because i have been scarred for life. i saw a guy break his arm freestyling. i doubt that has ever really happened in to other people.

I play everything on 1.5/Solo (yes, even Drop out!!) Sometimes I play reverse when I am feeling crazy!

I have never bar hugged in my life... just seems like cheating to me... I mean... if you grab on to it for a second to regain balance... thats what they are there for... but it's the people that swing from them... holding on for dear life... thats a little annoying.

I can't get a AAA.
I do fast songs with high voltage to please the crowd with my amazing footwork.
