What is the literal English spelling (romanji, is it?) of the symbol meaning "Home" in the DDR HOME category of DDR EXTREME? If there's any confusion, I mean like the symbols that translate to "Kakumei," "Sana moretta ne ente," and "Daikenkai," not to mention the redundant "Sobakasu Freckles"...

First, it's romaji, not romanji.

DDR HOME=DDR kateiyou

"katei"=home and "you"=for. So the title of the catagory is "DDR for home".

Oh...I'm sorry that I forgot.
"Kaiteiyou" is also meaning "console" when it's only one word but not "katei" and "you".

Just a comment... "Sobakasu" (which actually means freckles) is in hiragana, and 'Sana Morette Ne Ente' is in katakana. Kanji is the writing that most people call "chickenscratch."

Hiragana are indivual letters, almost. Kanji are symbols used to symbolize entire words or meanings, and Katakana is like Hiragana, but used for writing foreign words.

So, Kanada would be written in Katakana, Nihon(Japan) would be writen in Hiragana, and Kanji is used to write lots of stuff...

Is this right? My first year of Japanese in school, it is awesome! Can't wait for next year, then I'll know Hiragana and Katakana, woo(already learned Hiragana this year)!

well u can also write nihon in kanji.(if u look at my location the last 2 kanji are `nihon`) but sometimes some japanese words are only written in hiragana. oh and I'm surprised your not learning both hiragana and katakana in the same class.
