Hello everyone,
I live in the Quad Cities - an area between Iowa and Illinois where Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline and Rock Island make a kind of grid split between I74 and the Mississippi river. Does anyone know of people in this area who post to these boards, and would like to get a DDR group going? The sad thing is that none of the arcades here have a DDR machine, but if I can get a big enough group going, maybe we could convince a vendor up here to carry one.
I already have a yahoo group going, if you're in the area or visit often, and you'd like to join, please visit this url:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/qcddr/
Thanks! |

Try posting in the proper regional forum, you might get more responses... _________________

Get them at my site (although only one is up right now, I'm working on getting the others up...) |

also, advertising another site is not allowed, if you would like to advertise it, put it in your signature. _________________

Ah, I was unaware there were regional boards. Last time I spent any time here, there weren't so many different sections. My bad. Thanks Draco.
And Qzar... I guess that means nobody else can ever post a link anywhere else. Man, what was I thinking? Whew! Glad that's out of the way. Now I'll get right to creating a gigantic .sig that is 10 times longer than any post I may write, with six banner ads and twelve links to external sites, because that's so much different. Thanks for the advice, man! |

Take a smaller dosage of sarcasm next time. He didn't tell you to pack your sig full of useless garbage, just put a single tiny link in it. Besides, it's not just his advice, it's the board rules. Advertising can only be put in sigs.
Relax, dude. _________________

1) Regional boards are best for this, but you now know that.
2) Advertising is not allowed. If you want to advertise your site, put it in your signature. Make sure that you follow the rules (500 x 150 pixels TOTAL, under 35k, no accomplishments, etc etc, it's all in the FAQ) for signatures.
And there's a difference between advertising a site and saying "here's something funny."
