By your rating, then, I'd be a three-four...
Man I suck...
I wish I was old enough to get a job... also I wish I had the home version...
I wish I had money period.
Oh well.
We can't all be middle-class.

There should be a ranking system for FSers.
As far as this ranking is concerned...I'd say 4.5 going off of Kyrandian's list. I can get A's on a few catas and can AA a few heavy songs, but I'm not that great of a PAer.

In the comparison to the whole DDR crowd, I would consider myself a high-level 8/low-level 9, like Waka Laka or Electro Tuned.
However, in comparison to other people of my level, I'd only rank myself as a mid-level 4. I like to think that I'm good, but I realize there's plenty of room for improvement. I've got a nice number of AA's, and more seem to have been falling in my lap recently, but I'm not to the point that I can easily AA ten-footers without trying.
It's times like these that the Level-Up system in my sig comes in handy! *Bricked for shameless advertising* _________________

Under Cowman's system...I am a 8 1/2 to a 9. I can FC almost any song, including Bag, Sakura, and (in a couple of weeks or so) probably PS, but NOT "AA" 'cause my PA is PATHETIC. TERRIBLE. I FC'd D2R with 86 prefects. Not greats....perfects. And I wasn't great attacking. I can FC Cartoon Heroes (only did that once) but I only have 14 Heavy "AA"s...and like TWO of them are catas. Everything else is before I decided I wanted to actually learn to play (Let's Groove, Silent Hill, Cow Girl, R3, A....those kindsa songs). |

I rather like Cowman's system... its not too harsh, but puts things in the perspective of the entire DDR scene. By his scale, I'd almost be a 10 though... and I still have a really long ways to go I think. 31 Heavy AAAs, 75% of the game SDGed, everything AAed except PSMO, Bag, and LoM... :\ Its hard to find satisfaction.... |

I like a 2 or 3 depending on which scale I use.
I don't really mind tho. I have only had the game for a little less than 3 weeks. |

If I was going to be truthful about this.....regarding EVERYTHING in DDR.....6 Mod, Doubles, AAA's, AA's.....I'd probably say about
7.5
I do have AAA's yes
I do Have AA's yes
Single Digit Great'ed most catas and songs...but my doubles skills suck terribly...as well as my PA on 10 foot songs...
...my freestyling is decent I suppose
(When i put effort into it and don't bail out on my ideas)
7.5 would fit me perfectly. _________________

Some of these ranking systems are ridiculous.
You do not need to be perfect in order to be a 10. You do not need to AAA PSM:O every time you play it to be a 10. You are a 10 if you are extremely adept at the game and better than 99.9%, but you don't have to be perfect. Not only is that impossible, but that would exclude elites like Yasu, Take, JSB, Tigger, etc from being 10s. Seriously, if they dominate the DDR scene they still get rated a 9 under some of these scales. Video game magazines give out 10s pretty often. Does this mean the game is perfect in every conceivable aspect? No, but it does mean that it stands out far and above its competitors.
A 10 does not signify perfection, it signifies mastery. Perfection is impossible. |

Now there is a truth sayer if I ever heard one, but I do believe in a strict ranking system so that it would weed out the less skilled players. I believe that not everyone can be a high ranking player, because to be one would mean that you are pretty amazing. Even at my level of skill I still see people that better than me, and am a truly adept player.
But honestly I don't know how I would rank myself. I'm not going to go shooting my mouth off about my accomplishments. But on a harsh grading scale I don't believe I would be an 8. For the most part I'm never satisfied with what I've accomplshed, because there is so much that can still be done. Just stating the facts as I see them. _________________

Maybe like 8.5 or 8. I can beat alot of 7 and 8 foot songs and alot of 9 footers, but no A's yet. I can also beat a couple 10 footers like Sakura and Bag. |
