Hi im a new player: started yesterday. I decided to take my 'skills' to an arcade today, and i did Holic on Maniac, got an A... before i started i told my friend who came to watch and said,"Watch im going to suck... did i tell you this is my second day?" He nodded and - well thats not important. Its just that someone walked up and heard that it was my second day and said, "You got a lot of potential, kid". Now that was WEIRD!!1

I kida looked at him like this

... i dunno if its cause im 11 or anything but... whatever.
Otherwise here are some questions.
1: Is there usually an age requirement for Gatherings, Tournaments etc, for DDR?
2:Does an A in Konamix(All perfect or great) equal a AAA in max? What does it equal then(I have Konamix only)?
3: Should i enter a tournament or somethin near my town? I hear there is a tournament coming up-"Look in Southern California", SD gathering near Boomers.
Now that ive baffeled you because im 11....Lol i will end this lil big post thing lol

If you did Holic/Heavy on your second day, I am in awe. Seriously. I've been playing 19 days now and can't quite pull that off. Of course, I'm old and fat, but that's changing...

As to your age, that can only help you. Getting your co-ordination going that young is a good thing. There's a dad in here who posted his 11 or 12 year old daughter's 99.6% Oni - now THAT was awe inspiring as well, although she had been playing longer than you.

As to All Perfects and Greats, that is *usually* a AA in Max. AAA is All Perfects. AA is Perfects/Greats with more perfects than greats (I'm not sure of the cutoff) *or* a really high Perfect percentage (PA) + all OKs. I've gotten two AAs where I had a good, but only where I had mega high perfects (as in 90% or more) and all OKs on freeze-arrow songs. And of course, I could be dead wrong on any criteria here - this is all from my own experience. It may be possible to AA with all greats - I've just never seen it.

Keep on keepin' on, kid. If you really did do what you said you did, you have mucho potential.

not trying to be a jerk but i honestly dont believe you that you have only been playin ddr for one day and can already pass Holic heavy with an A. That song isnt a walk through thepark either. ive been playing for about a year and i can finally AA it

Yes, I agree with ddjerk. Ive been playing for 4 months and I still have troble with that song. Yes, I know some people progress a lot faster than others, but an A on Holic on Maniac after two days of playing

? I don't buy it.

well guess what. I did MaxX Unlimited 8 speed boost reverse shuffle dark stealth and passed with a AAA. Eat that.

Saying you did that is like jumping on a surf board yesterday and beating Kelly Slater in the WSSA. It's never going to happen
