So what does this mean for us? Can we finally expect another US arcade release? Is a name change that big? _________________

Nowhere in there did it mention the reopening of the already closed arcade division, so I wouldn't get my hopes up until they made an announcement about that.
There IS always the chance that they would hire a third party company to make it, but don't you think the quality would decrease? I wouldn't want a shitty machine right out of the box, let alone all the ones that are getting worn down but hardly repaired anyways. _________________

Now Spike, I think more KOA notices how much better the JAP releases do here than USA did. If they make a new mix I would expect much better quality than its firstborn. _________________

Considering there might be more DDr players in California than the rest of the continental US, I think everyone in California should mass at the doors of the new Konami building and demand they stop making the US DDR mixes suck donkey. Mob rule!

They should license hardware from Andamiro. I've never seen a bad PiU pad.
(Of course I've only seen a total of 3 PiU machines....and people don't play them nearly as much...but still, my limited experience has been that they're better quality.)
[edit]
Hmmm...I wonder if this means we can expect a Paranoia KDET remix in the future... _________________

When you have to produce less, you can get away with spending more :-)
DDR pads with PIU bars would be nice. _________________

So they are really closed, cause I remember that Konami released "Warzard", aka "World Combat", here in the US with the new Konami logo. And that was after I heard their arcade division was closed. _________________
