EGM, MTV game of the millennium poll

Oh. No.

If MTV rigged the polls like everyone said they probably did, and they rigged some stupid game like FF to come out on top, then I will personally fly to New York, go to the MTV studios there, and KICK EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR ASSES!!!

Just like I would to Adult Swim if they decided not to air a third season of Big O... (I swear that ending made absolutely no sense... 'we have come to terms?'

)

So... yeah.

4 clicks a second x 10 minutes = AT LEAST 2400 VOTES. If they are counting the votes, DDR WILL win by a landslide.

Hmm- the trick with using just the enter key doesn't work for me- I have to select it, then right click on it and then hold down the enter key.
Also- it does seem to stop after a short while. It will say page can't be found, and then a screen with just the word Okay. appears. It will work after this then.

It works as long as you right click and bring up the menu after selecting DDR. If you hit enter after selecting DDR, it will submit the result immediately. If you right click, then hold down the enter key, it will continue to submit it multiple times.

Heh, for a split second I let myself think "Well, hey. Maybe they aren't counting the votes, but it will turn out that DDR is the game they have rigged to win... since it is MUSIC TV after all." But then I remembered MTV has nothing to do with music anymore. Meh.

I was on IGN's Xbox board and someone else found out about the poll and posted it there. Already they are all talking about how they voted for Mario, Zelda, Halo and GTA

If the votes really count, I hope DDR can at least get in the top 5.

, and i hope they make a port of Ultimix for PS2 once the hard drive is released so we can download songs, then they can make a ddr machine of ultimix where u plug in ur mp3 player and u can make steps for ur own songs! kinda like Stepmania for arcades!

*insert long string of swears here*. Right... You see, the poll DOES count. The multiple counts DOES matter, heres why:

They want to make $$$. By allowing you to vote multiple times, they see which game has the STRONGEST fan base. They don't care if Halo has 17x more fans that DDR. If 97% of DDR fans are gonig to watch the show when DDR gets picked, versus 4% of Halo fans, it seems obvious that a DDR show will generate more views. If they see peoples plugging out 12,000 votes, they will know we have a very strong fanbase, that will watch their show fanatically. That's all they want. Viewers. They don't give a damn which one has more fans, just stronger fans. Keep voting.

My roommate and I are hardcore DDRers. So much that we planned to stick a quarter in my roommate's keyboard so that the enter key would stay down. We had his keyboard like this all night from 4:30am to 12:30pm

Yea halo is a very good game BUT no telling how many ppl no about the poll we the ddr ppl could b the only ones making it a cale walk
