Well I'm pretty sure the cards are only sold/work here in Japan, for all bemani games(PNM 10, IIDX 9th, GF10/DM9). I'm not sure about that though.

well i just found out that the e-amuse cards do save your expert course scores and whether you cleared the course or not. (Don't pay attention to my score, was my first try playing that course E15.gif ) Underneath the score it says whether you cleared it or not, but its kind of hard to see in my pic.

and to keep on topic...
Let the Snow paint me 7key

Had a couple of others that were pretty close too. blink.gif

I know i just posted something, but I thought this deserved its own post. Have any of you tried using the "towel method"? Where you cover up part of the screen with a towel.

I just started doing this on Thursday after reading about it in that thread and wow i was amazed at how much it helps. It really helps on slow songs, but it even helped me on faster songs too. e.g. My first time playing gravity(7) like that and I AA'ed the song, when before i could barely get an A. It even helped me with songs that were faster too. e.g. on QQQ(7) I was finally able to up my score from an A to AA. My scores have pretty much gone up on every song since i started using the towel, 2 days ago. It just really helped me so much that i think ive been playing every song using a towel.

I've been thinking about IIDX a lot lately, as well as studying some of the note charts to many songs. I'm starting to get tired of regular Beatmania, and I want to move on to IIDX, but the closest machine is 40 minutes away from where I live. I guess I might be going to SVGL sometime soon. I think I might be ready to pass some 4s and 5s. There's only one 4 I can do, and that's Silhoette of my Mind. I know I'm ready for more 4s now.

Also, I've been viewing a lot of videos of people playing certain songs. There are some videos I want to see that I can't seem to find. Does anyone know where to find videos of people playing Symbolic, Traces, or Love Me Do?

hehe, well i used to do pretty good on them on 8th style(6th for comment te dire adieu) too. E13.gif E15.gif

but yeah the timing is good for certain songs on 9th style(orange lounge) and really sucks on others, imo. Songs I could easily AA before on 8th and older styles, sometimes I can barely get an A on 9th style. Either that or i just got really bad at doing some songs.

oh one thing i just found out about the other day is that there is an "All Japan Platinum Course". I'm not sure how it works, but it probably takes all of the most popular songs from all the machines across the country(through the network) and makes a top 5 listing. I'm not sure how often it changes, because i just found out about it the other day. I saw one guy play it the other day. The course listing was:

One or Eight
Moon Child
Abyss the heavens mix
Quasar
Love Love Shine

Im pretty sure that was the order they were in, although abyss and quasar might be switched around, i forgot. one or eight being the first song he played and love love shine the last song.

Towel mode rocks. It assisted me in clearing Buffalo [A] and AAing Buffalo [7]. Hell, it even helped me clear take it easy [7]. Good for songs of all speeds (cept maybe max 300 or sakura).

E2.gif After seeing all those AAA's on the previous page, I'm about to cry. I have not yet AAA'ed a single song. I think I need to play more; I play on average about 30 minutes a day.

I just saw the note chart to Alien World, and it looks like it's the easiest 6 out there. I'm betting I could probably pass it when I get completely adapted to IIDX. You heard me right. I discovered some note charts for 8th style. The link is http://www4.onc.ne.jp/~nextage/score/

Finally my drought ends. It had been a week since i AAA'ed anything new.
Still my Words (7)

Over the clouds(something something mix, the one from 9th style)(7)

oh and it turns out that they have more than all japan course. Its the same as the regular ones, platinum, gold, silver and bronze. i passed the gold course(although karma and A were kind of tough on hs3), but failed the silver one, mainly because para survivor max was in it and i had hs3 on. blink.gif
