not really
The first "actual" time I went onto a arcade machine, I had no clue as to what I was doing, I jumped off the machine during my first song and left the arcade, being as I had no clue as to what I was doing. Flash forward 3 odd months since I tried it and I got DDRMAX for the PS2, I started playing it and got much better. Then I was excited when I first got to play it at the arcade and I've loved it ever since _________________

YES! DDR was still new in my area. I first played it at an amusement park and the only people who were any good were the park employees...but still, going up to something new in public without quite knowing what your doing is scary. _________________

Yeah, I wasn't too afraid the first time. It was at an amusement park, and I was playing Boom Boom Dollar on light. I didn't stop until I got a full combo (and my first A ) then someone stepped up on the pad and tried to make a complete buttocks of me by playing some paranoia on heavy to make me look bad. Then he got off beat and failed it. Served him right... even I won't fail a paranoia that bad. |

I remember I was somewhat anxious, but not terribly nervous. I had some home experience before I went for the first time, so I didn't make a complete newb of myself. _________________
