I got it to work with StepMania but I have the problem with the up-down, left-right jump things. Can someone help me?

Im using Windows XP Pro if that has anything to do with it.

I tried using JoyToKey but i dont know how to use it, so if someone could help me with that or just getting the jumps to work period much will be appreciated E1.gif

its not that, the steps read, its just that I cant do two steps at once. even if i have my foot on the left one and I step on the right one it wont read at all.

it only detects axis, and you can have 2 axis directions at once...thats like bending a joystick left and right at once...not possible.

You can make it work with Joy2Key, just cant remember how.

DO a search

as a note

that part you got from radio shack is usually non compadable with stepmania

check the faq sticky at the top to find a suitble one
or check www.stepmania.com for ones that are compadable

im having the same exact problem but im using the metal pad usb adapter from RED OCTANE and i cant use it in stepmania or DWI, what pisses me off is that RO is selling something without drivers or software to use it on XP or a pc in general
