Whee! *first post ever* Yeah. I've been to these forums multiple times, but I only recently joined. I've been playing DDR for about two years now, so I've gotten quite good at it; I can AA most anything on heavy-singles (i.e. I am t3h suQ when it comes to doubles), and I freestyle whenever I get the chance.

Hrm... my name is Chi Ri... only been playing DDR for a week (Saturday).

I'd like to say I'm pretty good... right now I can only play up to a 4-footer and still on light. But with frequent practice at the arcades, I'm sure I'll advance pretty soon... considering that even though my level is quite low in playing DDR, I still get a crowd and comments about having a natural thing for DDR.

Well, I'm a 14 year old girl who's been playing DDR at the arcades since Easter of this year (yeah, I haven't been playing too long ^^0). But, I practice a lot with StepMania, and can do quite a few seven and eight footers. So far, I'd say my greatest accomplishment would be A'ing Holic on Heavy^^

Hello everybody.

I don't have a playstation 2 and there are no DDR machines in my country....

But I do have some friends with DDR

So I haven't played alot of DDR really...so I pretty much suck at it.

But it will all change when Dancing Stage Unleashed gets released in The Netherlands. Because I do have an Xbox and Xbox LIVE.

So I will probably see some of you on LIVE

hi everyboby! i am from Mansfield in England and i've been playing ddr (or dancing stage as it's called in the uk) for about a year but there is no ddr machine where i live so i can't play often, only at home on a soft mat so i'm not as good as most of you but i'm a respectable 6/7 footer

Hi, i'm DaikenkaiNinjaDude. I signed up to the DDR Freak forums last week, and i started posting today!

I have been playing DDR for about a year now, and I am currently playing on Light. I like to play my fav songs like Daikenkai(made obvious by my name), R3, and Tsugaru. I turn songs to Standard when i feel they are too easy on light. Recently I have started to play harder songs like Afronova Primeval and Max 300 on Light to better prepare me for Standard. I don't like doing Sakura alot cuz i always get massacred.

I recently discovered DDR at the Town Center Mall in Ashland, KY, and I'm hooked!!! The kids who do DDR in earnest are the COOLEST kids in the world. I found myself watching others at the arcade play DDR, and I was encouraged to try it. Nobody laughed. They just offered words of encouragement. I went right out and bought a Playstation 2 just so that I could practice DDR at home. I started with a cheap mat, which I have enhanced with a non-slip pad of my own creation, but I have ordered a stainless steel mat. I still go to the malls in Ashland, KY and Huntington, WV to play in the arcades.

This was all very recent, and it's taking me time to get up to speed. Oh, maybe I ought to mention that I'm one of very few over 18 who plays DDR around here. I'll be 53 later this month. So, that means that NEXT year I'll be 18 ... for the THIRD TIME. LOL. Seriously, there ARE no cooler kids than DDR FREAKS!!!

What's up, everyone. Call me PcH. I hail from South Florida and used to play DDR about one year ago. I stopped playing for no particular reason and have decided to get back into it. It really helps me get rythem and skills for actual dances throughout the school year.
