Unfortunately, as much as we all love it, there are no home versions, nor announcements of one or even rumors. Sad to say, it wasn't a vastly appreciated Bemani... _________________

Its a shame, I play DMX all the time at a local arcade and Im shocked to see that there is no home version.
I love DMX, but I am curious. Has anyone ever AAA (DDR term) a song?? Like get a perfect score of 10,000,000?? I have come VERY close on a few songs (In My Dreams, Baila Baila, Tears (Mild)), but no AAA. |

I've come damn close. I had 2 greats on Body and 2 greats on Locomotion at one point on the first mix.

It's actually fairly easy to get an S on Second Mix. If you have a D or better, try to get like 60 in a row at the end and it's no problem.
It's hard to get an S on First Mix, since basically 3 or more goods or misses means you won't get it. _________________

It means you are playing only on the top sensors. Think of it as another way of saying "little."

About 1 hour ago, I just full-perfected Ain't It Good wild. The thing is, the max score (and this is on DMX First Mix) is 9,990,000. Weird. I thought it'd be 10,000,000, and I know I got all perfects cuz it showed a perfect yellow pie with no red marks.
For the person who asked about getting an SS for a perfect score, all you get is an S.

i JUST WANTED TO KNOW SOMETHING. tHERE IS A "TEARS", on DMX, right? I know there is, ive played it. But i can not find that song or its existance anywhere. I searched for it, but all i got was the Tears from DDr, but its not the same song. I think they're both by Naoki, though.
The reason i cant check the machine, is because my local arcade(West Manchester Mall York, pa) got rid of it and put in a crappy DDR solo machine And i really loved that song...
So i was wondering if any of you know what i'm talking about. |
The song "Tears" is on Dance Freaks, the Korean version of DMX. I don't know who sings the song.

The Locations function on the DDR Freak tool bar(?) works well for locating specific machines. Where you located at? |

Why did Konami not make a new mix of Dance Maniax? It seems perfect for a 3rd, 4th, etc. _________________

Many people will say it was like Para Para Paradise, a fad that died. I've played Para Para twice ever, so I can't compare.
I think what killed it was the purpose of playing. You were supposed to flail your arms and use your knees, feet, legs, etc. to hit the notes, but who in the hell did that? Some of you might say Heaven is a 57, but name another song.
IMO, Konami must have just killed it, no questions asked. Yeah, it did seem fitting for a Third or Fourth mix, with more Happy Hardcore or B4ZA remixes.

A couple grand i believe. My best friend has one at his house and he said it wasn't too terribly expensive, but he bought it about a year or so ago, so prices may have changed. Oh, and good luck getting the Append for it, apparently only about 1000 or so were even made, and we can't find one anywhere (the only one we've played on is in an arcade in Portland, Oregon) btw, i do play a bit, and i can beat most stuff on 2nd mix on wild, but as far as being really good..I'm not that great _________________

DMX is too easy. Plus, it never really caught on after 2nd Mix Append J-Paradise. Home version was even axed. Doesn't have much, if anything to do with Para Para. _________________

Damn, I didn't know Konami considered making a home version.
About the append, I guess our playing area is lucky. We have 2 of the about 1000 made.
