hey guys i was just watching south park and i thought "wow it'll be tight if they were characters on DDR."
which characters do you think might be good on DDR?

I think Kenny would be good to be in the background when u get the danger screen. Kartman can be the guy who talks while and after u do a song. Stan can be a lil pointer when pick something. Kyle can be a background dancer. That would be so cool  . It would have to be rated A for Awesome.  |

Severus Snape in DDR would be absolutely hilarious.  "Stupid Muggle arrow smashing game!" He could be the announcer and insult you, even when you get a AAA. He would probably hate peppy songs like the J-pop and Eurobeat songs, and he would complain when you picked those songs.....come to think of it, he'd probably complain about almost any song you picked.

The characters in the game are stupid enough already. We don't need to add a new batch of characters for some loser to write a million fanfics on.
Konami should set up a press release and announce all the characters in DDR were killed in a plane crash. |

I think they should get rid of characters and focus on the backrounds more. They should make it after IIDX where each song has a different video, unlike the way DDR does it ow with the recycling of all backrounds in each song.

I seriously want to comment to this. I really do, but we don't need a flame war in a perfectly valid topic.
Back on subject, I think it'd be pretty cool to play as the Adult Swim crew, especially Brak, Frylock, Meatwad, and maybe even Brendon Small from Home Movies, but that's a pretty goofy idea and obviously wouldn't fly too well.
Seriously, I'd want to play as Snoopy, from the old Peanuts comics. I'm not even joking. Just think about it for a moment: Have you ever seen him dance in the Charlie Brown movies?
As for backgrounds, I think the games should give you a choice of whether you want characters or original background movies. While I love playing as different people, Qzar Mystik has a pretty good point.

Following Adult Swim characters, we could go with Family Guy's Stewie or Brian. I'd love to see that. Especially Brian just dancing while smoking and...being a dog...and yeah...

When we start talking about characters relating to DDR, that completely fills out all reason why we are called DDRFreaks.
By the way, I'm with Polaris... I prefer not to see really lame looking people breakdancing behind the arrows.

Initially, I didn't bash anyone. I said the characters are stupid, and they are. Then, because I insulted your CG girlfriend, you got defensive and made it very obvious you had some things to say to me. Alright guys enough arguing. We're on the net guys...arguing isn't as fun as it is in real life....anywho The main reason I don't like the characters is they were just annoying and it's more fun to watch a kickass backround movie instead of animated characters doing the same moves over and over again especially if i'm waiting in a long line -_-
