Error screen in StepMania

I need help with my crashing stepmania. I checked the get dwi thread today, to find some wonderful links that can get every ddr song officially released. Well, I begin downloading whole mixes, then arranging them in my stepmania collection. I go to run stepmania, and I get "an error has occured."

Crash reason: access violation.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I hope this isn't very easily accessed information, as I did browse the stepmania topics looking for help.

I fixed the problem by updating to the newest version of stepmania. This can be closed.
