Jamiraqoi (sp?) has some great dancing in his videos, i may just steal alot of it for my next routine!
as for the repeated arrows you dont want to move your feet to... the first thing i've found when i started dancing on the machine, was that if i just stood on the arrow, and pushed my weight down without lifting the foot, or sliding to heel or a toe sor something, it would register a step, not accurate, but close enough.
so when you get into a groove and move with the beat on that arrow with your upperbody, SHAKE YO MONEY MAKER and it should register to the arrow. hahaha, i've been wanting to say that. _________________

ten youre worse than phrek cuz at least he shows what he does.
thats why you hide away in these forums. you members of ddrfreak
are giving a bad name for this site. it is very unproffesional of you
and it really shows your imature nature. im not even trying to impress you i've done that, i've had crowds, these vids are to show off the accomplishment of a pad next thing comming will be my competitions
however im very proud of my pad and site. it's very impressive to many people. calling my demo vids of my homemade pads silly routines makes you stupid because i don't have any of my other ddr vids up. None of you people have tried to even give supporting help. i have accomplished more than your average ddr player has in less than a year. and i started just like you all did from the bottom. im improving everyday with or without your help. eventually i will leave you so far behind me that you will never catch up

how did you respond so quickly
anyways thanx for posting my site
thanx to you phrek captain canada
my site gets a lot more attention than i would have expected
i have even gotten emails and messages
telling me how good i am and if i could give
any pointers. enough so that i have considered making
a video giving pointers to learn ddr.
now your advice may not be worthy
but im a truly versitile and serious ddr player when it comes down to it
and im willing to give advice to others without
telling them they suck.
but it's thanx to you guys for making me realize that im much better than i had originally thought, and that i can be better than others who have had more experience and practice. i believe this is due to the fact that most people can't afford double pads or can't afford to play doubles in the arcade. or maybe its just to hard for them. whatever the reason may be doubles is a whole lot of fun and will change the way you read the arrows.
so my suggestion is to do doubles even if you prefer singles. cuz playing doubles will strenthen your skill at singles at the same time as doubles. singles is very easy to memorize. if you want to memorize singles you just need to learn a variation of 4 steps only plus once i have learned a singles completely by memory it feels easy and unchallenging and quite boring since ive played the song a dozen times. i haven't been able to however commit a doubles to memory
can't wait to hear from all your future accomplishments

do u actually play ddr or do you just post in the forums
i think we have another fake one
i do think phrek are mel b are good
in fact i think they must colaborate
phrek will never be as good as mel b
mel b didn't have the body but he
could pull off the tricks. in my eyes
anyone who places in a tourney is good
in my eyes they may not be the greatest
but they did what they had to do to place
and i have much respect for that. im actually getting to
you guys cuz what i say is true
just because you disagree with me
doesn't mean you should be angry with me
grow up |

Oh yes he should. Calling someone like Ten a fake? I'd looove to see you face him, or any of the serious compeditors here in competition, tech or freestyle. They would trash you so badly it's not even funny. Believe me, I've been there. Easy with the comments, dude. You'll get yourself banned. _________________

You are must too positive. I saw your forums before you deleted all the negative messages.

Again you are thinking way too highly of yourself. To focus solely on one thing is leaving you blind to the other experiences out there.

Ten is a player from NJ, His PA is very good. And just started freestyling. But this isn't a discussion about DDR, this is a discussion about how appealing you look as a freestyler. And you aren't very appealing.
You need to take some of your own advice.

Uh...yeeeeah... so um...
.....
Anyone know a good learning source for dance moves that aren't like... too happy-poppy? A lot of the moves for a routine in mind don't look like they're biteable from most of these videos a lot of people say to watch.
I need something darker, pop n' lock stuff is fine but most of the stuff I've seen in videos is out of the mood of the routine... think brooding techno I'd state the name of the song but I won't for many reasons. |

I need help thinking of a routine for an exhibition...
I wanna play one of those "gay" songs, like Silent hill, la copa de la vida, it's raing men or little boy boy oh boy. Prefferably one of those songs.
I need an idea for a funny FS. Theres many arcade games nearby for help, like waverider 98 or whatever its called, topskater, and that one soccer one. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance! _________________

I think uues has given us all a new term for DDR
wall-hugging.
I thought that day would never come, damn
anyways RAJ, a funny freestyle? I had an idea for Telephone operator, I think there's potential in that, although I think there's better ideas than slamming and destroying a telephone on the bars.
Daikenkai might be another one.
Right now, I'm going to try and emulate 3 riverdance videos I downloaded and doing a Bag routine. I'll show Vegas what an Irishman can do |

That reminds me of an idea I gave Ensyther for that song. He made large cards with altered lyrics to the song, and held the up sitting on a stool. For example, the first card right in the beginning was MORE PORK!
Needless to say, he failed the song. But that was funny. _________________

Lesson learned last night. Lip syncing along with the song (if there's lyrics) is a great way to get yourself mentally into the song and the rest sometimes comes naturally. |
