Awesome vids Neo. Can't wait for my new metal pad. As for the inside of the RO, is the aluminum sensors bad or somethin'? _________________

if you dont open it up and clean it every few weeks, the arrows occasionally start randomly registering because the foil residue gets all over the copper grid, making the circuit complete. Its a bit of a hassle. I guess its ok. _________________

I Opened my Metal Pad which i got from Lik-Sang.com and i gotta tell, it's the same system they use / http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=0&products_id=3681& ).
Now it's either just me but my pad seems a bit unresponsiv. i'll have to go and mod it probably. Changing the Tin Foil to actual Tin and adding another sets of contacts (screws like in ddrhomepads design). If anyone tried it like this already, can you give me a review about the result of that? all you have to do is unscrew the plates that holds the arrows down and open it up. _________________

Hey, for anyone interested in those Neo Competition pads, I have one on the way to me right now. Since there haven't been any real in-depth reviews about them yet (but good feedback nonetheless), I'll write one (WITH PICTURES, of course) and post it here. It should be a nice pad, considering it was cheap and is easy to mod (something I'll be doing soon after I get it). _________________

I've been considering getting one of those, but I've been a bit reluctant because I cringe at the sight of Ebay. I'd love to see an in-depth review and maybe tips for modding it after you've given that a try... Just please dont post it here, make a new thread. itd suck to have something so useful get lost in the 40 pages of chaos |

Will do, though if a mod requests me to move the post here then I'm I'll have to oblige. =)
eBay isn't such a bad place, by the way. I've purchased a great deal of things from there, including the Eternal Arcadia Best Navigation Guide (an artbook), which is my favorite game ever.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention that if anyone could spare some bandwidth, I'll record videos of me using the pad as well. _________________

I doubt the location should be a problem... I mean, look at all the BNS metal pad discussion happening "on the outside"
As far as ebay is concerned, I love it! I mean, where else can you buy a set of 7 individually wrapped plastic taco bell sporks for a buck 50?
eBay with dance pads, however, can be less attractive. I've gotten lucky with one pad, but my girlfriend ended up getting a total of 4 bad pads >_<. A 30 dollar ignition ripoff is one thing to gamble with... a metal pad is pretty pricey for a teen to afford
Bandwidth is something I sadly can't help you with, although videos would be great... |

This will sound like a REALLY random question....
I want to ask for a Cobalt Flux pad for Christmas, but I have just one concern....
On the rare instances I've gotten to play in an arcade, I've had a problem with freeze arrows. I'm just a tiny little girl, I only weigh about 100 pounds, and more than half the time I don't have enough weight to hold down freeze arrows. (I never have that problem on my soft pads)
A) Any other little people have that problem with hard pads, or am I just crazy?
B) Are CF arrows sensitive enough to recognize that I'm standing on the arrow??
Thanks ^___^ |

Im a guy and im 115 but i have no trubble, you should be fine, as for the Neo competition pad, so far its been like a month and the lights stopped working but i think its my sisters fault, other then that the pad is still perfect after tons of VERY heavy playing!!! _________________
