Why do my emails to people in the 'contact us' link on ddrfreak never get answered? None of them. The last one I sent was to Jason Ko.

I get tons of email. I usually ignore emails that can be answered by other means. I read all my mail, but I don't necessarily reply to them.

I'm pretty sure I'd already read through everything and think mine needed an answer by an admin.

Just to appease you, I am going to go through each email you sent me.

Quote:
I'm the one that submitted the Family Fun Center in Hendersonville, TN.
I didn't notice I made a typo until after I clicked submit. When it
asked if it was correct, I clicked 'no' thinking I would be able to
edit it. Can you remove this 'no'? Also what I was trying to correct
was 'loungel'. Can you change this to 'lounge,'?

As you can read from http://www.ddrfreak.com/faq-locations.php, "We only want one submission (new, delete, or modification) per location AT ANY GIVEN TIME. That means, if you screwed up in your submission, and you want to create a new one to replace the old one, TOUGH. Wait it out. Don't fudge the city name or the arcade name just to get in another submission. Wait until the first one gets denied or approved, then send in a modification to it. Above all else - DO NOT EMAIL or PM or POST about it. Everything dealing with machine locations should be contained within the machine locations page. If you choose to email or post about a correction anyway, I can guarantee that it will be thoroughly ignored."

Quote:
For Machine Locations - Lazer Quest, in Tennessee, I clicked No, so it
now says
"2 / 3 currently approve this modification"

However, everything is correct. I was just going to add the hours
where I had previously put a URL instead, so thought if I clicked No,
it would let me make changes.

Again, on the same page: "To modify a location, you click on the location, locate the little button that says "Modify", and do your magic. If the location already has a modification pending, you cannot do anything. This is an intentional part of our design. You may not modify new locations that are waiting for approval. This is also intentional. If you do not approve of a modification/new submission, rate it 'no', and with enough negative votes, it will be deleted."

On your machine locations for Tennesse, Nashville, it should be Laser
Quest, not Lazer Quest.

Again, "Everything dealing with machine locations should be contained within the machine locations page. If you choose to email or post about a correction anyway, I can guarantee that it will be thoroughly ignored."

There we go. If you read through everything, you would see that any emails I get regarding machine locations modifications will be ignored. That's exactly what happened to you.

Perhaps you didn't understand what I was saying. I was not trying to submit a new location, or trying to edit by giving a new name, etc. When I was submitting the location, it asked me if it was correct, therefore I thought I was not completely finished submitting (ie. *preview*), and it was asking me to look it over. I said 'no'. I didn't trying to submit another.
I am sorry for making this mistake and not fully understanding how the website works.

Making mistakes is fine. That gets taken care of when enough people vote no. Still, don't email us about mistakes.

In our to-do list, we do plan on making a preview feature so people can see their changes before submitting it.
