i am making a metal pad it is almost complete i just have to screw down the arrows to the rails but im wondering how tight shood the screws be so that i dont compress the foam and make the arrows being pushed down all the time

i dont have one buy i can anwser that:

i would just tighten it, try it out, and adjust it till its just right.

I had this same concern building my pad... I was worrying too much. Just screw it on nice and tight (not so tight you can't loosen it!); shouldn't be a problem. If for some reason it is, you can always loosen it, right?
