Songs that trigger memories...

Everytime I play the AM-3P Bass Remix or whatever it's called I can't help but think of the father of a friend I once had. Even though I only met his father once, I can't help but think of him when I hear this song for some reason. Anyone else have any weird memories/thoughts triggered by certain songs?

I just have flashbacks to when I first started playing and all that stuff. Nothing like playing Paranoia and thinking of my old job or something

Although, I guess there have been times when I've thought about when I first started playing and it brought me back to other memories about that time. But that's about it.

Well, it's not really a DDR song, more a IIDX song. Whenever I hear I.C.F. 5800, I can't help but think back to my childhood when I was in my elementary years.

The song More Deep(ver 2.1) just makes me think of falling in love

, its so romantic. Not that that triggers any memory, but is does make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

I don't know anything about the "good 'ol days," but I did SEE a 3rd mix machine once.

There are a few songs that remind me of things, but they come at random...no one song is triggering a "moment" or anything like that.

Whenever I hear the song "Captain Jack" I remember the good ol' times of me and my friend sherl0k doing the stupid dance movements that we made up to it.

I do a little "running man" dance on the steps that are like:

rinse and repeat but with different first jumps.....MAD fun...people are like "you can't finish hard pies and you're dancing 9 footers..." mad fun.

Whenever I play Nori Nori Nori, it reminds me of the first time I played DDR, for 4 hours on a 6th mix. That's the first song I played, first trick song I passed, and probably the first maniac song I passed. My ankles hurt so badly after that I could not climb stairs for a week.

Everytime I play Kick the Can, Dream a Dream, any of the Dives, Moonlight Shadow, Ecstacy, Dam Damiran or Can't Stop Fallin' in Love it remindes me of my brother Chris who died in Sep. 21, 2002

. Those were his favorite songs.

Memories - Reminds me of a girl that's now my best friend whom I also used to like so long...and she did as well but we just never confessed it to each other.

That song... "I.....I have to let you go...I just want you to know. You'll always be the one....the one I love." that stanza perfectly fits that situation.

L'amour et la liberté - The lyrical meaning to the song (I took French for 3 years and can understand most of it) just reminds me of this war altogether.

Tears - Lyrical meaning reminds me of a girl that I liked a lot but her parents didnt want me to see her because she was Korean and I was Hawa'iian. Stupid parents...

(My choices are all extreme songs because those are the songs I can relate my reality to...mostly.)
