Play songs with lots of streams(CSFILSM, R&P, EE, ect).
People could care less if you were trying to PA a technical song, they just want to see fast paced action. |

Playing Doubles Heavy, it seems to attract crowds for some reason even thought I am not leet compared to other Doubles players. Maybe it's cause they like seeing some action with 2 pads, lol. _________________

Streams really get attention. Holic and any of the max songs are noticed but songs like Burning Heat, and others like you said that are more techincal and just as hard don't get noticed. |

Burning Heat wouldn't do too well unless you could FC it.
Not only are they looking at your movement, but your combo as well. FC something moderately difficult and most crowds will be in awe. |

doubles anything does it every time. And yeah, streams are the way to go.
They need to bring back Kick the Can, and add "increase music speed" modifiers to the arcade.... |

There was a DDR "proverb" I saw in someone's sig once...
Confucious say he who plays single player improves his skills. He who plays versus shows how good he is. But he who plays doubles always draws a crowd.
Something like (I'm sure I butchered that up nicely x.x ).
Or you can spin, hit some knee drops and hand plants or whatever... Most crowds don't know what a good FS is so that tends to "wow" them a bit... _________________

Yeah...FS a lil' bit...they go nuts.
I'm in the mid. of playing EE earlier today and I do all kinds of stuff...(Heavy, but of course) I turn only in the beginning part (only 'cause I haven't figured out the ending yet), so I double-step the end (if you ever see anyone double-step that, it looks like they're donig a side-to-side dance, and a crowd will tihnk I'm doing just that, so all the better).
I also clap in the piece in which you do the whole step-jump (hold) step-jump (hold) on the steps in which you'd hold the arrows...actually got a few people clapping with me once...that was cool. |

Yeah, like until they see you
Songs that generally involve a lot of movement like EE, CSFILSM etc.. Or something with a really strong beat that'll attract people I.E Max 300. When A gets going it's a great crowd pleaser _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

MODS!
Pick the slowest song on the machine and use a 3Xor 4X speed mod.
Dark is kind of overused, but reverse will always wow the crowds (if you can handle it). My typical option set for any song is 1.5X Dark Reverse.

1. I'll do the glowstick thing
2. We have 4th mix so it has Kick the Can
3. I do Dynamite Rave freestyle
4. 4th Mix doesn't have mods.
5. My friend Jim would play Naked for some money. You got the money, i got the courage to tape it.
6. There is no number six.
7. Unless there is nothing more i should know, this topic can be locked when ready. _________________

When you say noticed do you mean the crowd wise??
Well in general a crowd likes to see a body already in motion because it's dealing with motion...they like to see movement which is lively....they walk by and are drawn into the motion of your body...there's nothing really to do to get "really" noticed but I can say that....if you are talking about a NON DDR crowd then that is definitely the way to go...
just stay in motion I suppose?
Honestly as you can see I dont pay attention to the crowd. _________________
