Wow. This thread was kinda dusty, lol.

Umm yea... I think Tsugaru is a pretty good cata for when you're just starting to get into the cata level and such... It's one of the first that I've passed I think.

Okay now this thread should go back to being dusty.

It's fun to play on Boost/Reverse/Dark. In fact, that's the ONLY way I'll play it now.

i beat tsugaru on my first try. i was playing for 8 months previous to then. never played the apple mix but i agree with whoever mentioned it before - shuffle is the way to go on tsugaru E13.gif i usually play either hidden or dark shuffle..not reverse though..i hate reverse E13.gif

That depends.

How good are you at other songs?

Personnally, that song always gave me a lot of trouble. I couldn't get past that first section at all! I came back to it after about 3 months of playing and got a B on it no problem.

Just learn to stomp, gallop, turn, and 32nd step and you'll be good. E7.gif

i agree wit u mysteryo.i dont mean 2 show or like diss n-e body but i b'd dat the first time i tried it

This sounds like what i went through with So Deep. There are two changes in So Deep which throw you off a ton. But on Tsugaru, there are over 4 changes that you can really screw up on.

Good luck.

(Buy Max2 to learn steps, I did the same with So Deep)

It was my first cata, but once I could consistently clear it I quit playing it and started on the other catas. I went back to it a month and a half later, and I got an A. I played it a few days ago and missed the AA by 9 perfects. It's a good song, you'll get it soon enough.

yea, its a left/right jump, then 32nd steps which i believe is left, right, left and then another left/right jump... it is exactly in sync with the music.. so try goin with the music.

Well, thanks for the encouragement and congrats. I can pass it every time now. If only I could pass So Deep, I'd be happy for the next 2 weeks.
