Why not have it so that if you post a topic twice, the recent one gets deleted automaticly. It should have the same name(The topics) and that's what the sensors (Or something...)could pick up. I dunno, just a thought. could it work?

There is rarely a topic that is posted with the same name as another topic (it's usually "DDR Turning Tips" and "Tips on Turning in DDR"). Besides, if I made a quality topic with posts... someone could just make a post with the exact same name and override my topic (erasing it?).

Also you would definately need a filter that is very very high. That can recognise similiarities in words and the order they are put in. Unless the title of the threads were identical.
besides why pay all these mods and not get their moneys worth?  Lockage is fun for them.

Anyway, I think this person was talking about when the forum is being stupid and it double posts something by the same author when the person only hits submit once. It still involves some difficulty as far as monitoring what is supposed to be posted and what isn't, but it's not THAT out of the question. But I think it'll be too much work for what it's worth.
