I'm about to invest some serious $$ to get the DMS3 modchip for my PS2 mainly to play BM IIdx (no, seriously). I've read their website and seen that you need to press a button on the controller in order to boot PS2 games. Mind you, I'll be using the official controller to play BM.

Anyway, I'd like to know if anyone here has had experience with this modchip playing BM. Anything special I need to press on the BM controller to load the game? Should I just invest in the Magic 3 or Messiah 2? Thanks for the feedback.

http://www.dms3.com is the website of the modchip in question.

I own one.. It auto-boots PS2 games, so you don't need to hold anything down unless you want to play PSX games, DVD movies or do any of the other special features, which only require you to hold a button down, which you can simply plug in a DualShock 2 for, and then replug in the special controller.
