Dating via DDR represents a common interest for both parties. It gives both people some common ground where they can discuss and help each other out. Maybe it's a strange interest for people to share, but is the same principle as meeting someone who also likes baseball, camping, hiking, etc.

Well, my last girlfriend learned how to play DDR because of me. I got her a whole bunch of stuff for Christmas and she continues to play. Haven't seen her in a while though...

I'm compelled to get whomever I date to at least understand the things I enjoy. Games (especially my fighting games) are one thing they don't get most of the time. Then I bust out the Tekken. "Hey, choose that Christie girl." *mashes away* It gets 'em goin' every now and then. DDR, though, it's almost harder to make them understand unless they play it. People are slowly learning my ways. I've a small DDR fanbase at my school now. We meet up every now and then to play at Chapel Hills.

But woe, the single life does blow... (heh, that rhymed.

i actually met 3 of my boyfriends thru ddr, one of whom you all know. the two others didnt post here much, if at all.

there was 1 that i remember but she moved from seattle to san diego....

ah well, washington sucks for ddr, that's why i evolved from DDR to Break and Poplock

DDR is great for people to learn how to REALLY dance and evolve themselves into real dancers and show stoppers

Eh, well, I know a lot of guys that have tried and tried to find significant others but because are into games have a lot of problems doing so since most females (stereotypically) into games are too nerdy/geeky/outcasty/overweight/underweight/etc etc etc. SEE, with me, I was extremely overweight until I started playing DDR! XD XD XD

Then I came out of my shell as I lost weight and now I'm the non-stereotypical gaming girl. ::shrug::

THANKS for all the compliments guys! I do have a boyfriend, and he's the love of my life... and go figure, I met him through DDR. Haha. THERE'S HOPE FOR YOU ALL YET. XD

{Sorry, might be a little off topic here) I know DDR, isn't the standard for your typical video game action, but I've yet to see any girl best me in any video game. Mind you, I rarely see any at the arcades (and they are NEVER on the DDR machine), but I could see girls being a lot better at DDR than they would any FPS.
