I'm looking to buy a platform for at home use, and I wasn't really sure who I could ask, so I'm just putting this up here.
Which would be better to get (better, as in, more durable, something that would last longer and easy to fix if it did break) : an all metal pad or a metal and wood one. The site says the arcade pads are metal and wood.. They're both around the same price.
Help? ^^; |

The sticky topics are your friend. Don't worry about them being long though, the first post in each sticky is designed to give all the information needed.

The best metal pad is the CF, followed by the RO. I'd highly recommend getting a CF instead of the RO, because of CF has a greater reputation with it's pad and that also have great customer service and a 6 month warranty.

I wasn't looking for the best *brands*... I just wanted to know which was better - all metal, or metal combined with wood. That's why I didn't wade through that long post. @.@ |

But can you "feel" the arrows on the CF like you can in the arcades? It looks entirely flat and slick from the videos.
