DDR+Prom=NO!
Uhh, I'm sorry but that just seems horribly lame. Unless a vast majority of the people at your school play, I can't see that being a remotely good idea. _________________

At my prom me and my gf went to the arcade across the street while everyone else was inside brought our trainers in a bag and we were ok _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

Why wouldn't you just have DDR at after-prom? My school does the velcro-body-wall thing, and DDR looks downright dignified compared to that.

I can see how DDR at a prom can have its ups and downs, but I wouldn't want one at mine. Its supposed to be a special night, not another day t the arcade playing a silly arrow stomping game. _________________

One time I was at a school dance and there was a big poster on the wall that said "Dance Dance Revolution" in really big letters. I think having a DDR contest at my school would rock because I would own everyone there _________________

The "velcro-wall thing" is where prom-goers wear suits covered in spiny velcro, and hurl themselves at walls covered in soft velcro. They are then suspended on the wall until their date pries them off (which is a while, 'cause she's getting hammered with someone else's date).
As for a DDR prom itself, there wouldn't be enough people at any one school to support it. The idea someone else posted about just having an in-school tournament is much better, because no one can laugh at you after you smoke them on Dynamite Rave.

I'm sure if you did a quick poll, many guys in favor of a DDR prom either don't have serious dates, or have girlfriends that play it too. _________________
