Hiya everyone!
Ever since the announcement of UltraMix was made, RedOctane has been getting lots of emails and calls asking if we will have any pads or adapters for this title. Well, I've been given the OK to announce it
RedOctane WILL be releasing a version of the Ignition 2.0 pad that will work with both X-Box AND PlayStation2!
We had a prototype version of the pad as well as an early rev of UltraMix here in the office today, and it worked very nicely. Of importance (and can change at any time), the top of the pad will house the X-Box memory cards, and the cable will be of the "break-away" kind.
For existing Ignition pad owners, not to worry! We are still keeping you in mind We had two different PS2 -> X-box converters to test, however we will need to test them more before we can decide whether to utilize these brands or not. However, we will make sure to have a converter available for you as well
I can't comment on UltraMix, but I will say that it was definitely enough to make me want to get an X-box! I'll keep an eye out on this thread for any questions, and I'll try to answer them when I get a chance, but I thought the community would like to hear this first!
Happy gaming! _________________
