i would love to hook up with a girl that can play ddr. i only know a couple girls that play, and i didnt really want them until i played with em. now they're just damn irresistable
i still have a yet to have a girl talk to me or anything after playing ddr though..the closest ive come to meeting a girl by playing ddr are when we set it up at parties and i play in front of everyone...im like the best player in 20 miles lol. if i could find a girl that was better then me though..man...that would just make it all the more better...
i better stop before i get too excited =X _________________

I have yet to meet any girls at all that play DDR, and I live in suburbia california of all places. I'm still debating whether I'm the best in my town, there are certainly better PA'ers but not many others that I know can pass as many pies (10 footers) as me. When girls do watch me it's usually during a pie or cata, so of course I can't really look very attractive while playing. If I did meet a girl that played as much as me I wouldn't even believe my eyes. Sometimes I think all the females here find DDR to be extremely unnattractive.
No love for the real DDR freaks in Pleasanton, CA... _________________

Hmmmm not really interested in a girl that plays DDR. When I'm with my mate I'd like a female that watches me do what I have a passion for. (Sadly though DDR isnt a passion of mine)
Whether it be Sk8boarding, surfing, writing poetry, composing a song or another poem just having her there would make things ten times better.
But since DDR isnt a passion of mine I'd feel uncomfortable having her watch me play. I wouldnt perform as well. |

I met my boyfriend of almost one year through DDR! We met at an arcade called Quarters in kirkland. And neither of us are anime freaks (well, I used to be), fat, skinny, azn, or anything. We're just normal nerds! XD
This is us:
AND we both are really good at the game. Hahaha, it'll be awesome when we have kids... like... little crazy DDR fiends running around... hrrrm....
IT JUST GOES TO SHOW, keep trying. I had a boyfriend when I met Charlie (my current BF) and who would've thought that after being friends for a long time that we would've ended up together. AND we met through this game.
Good luck to all! XD _________________

I've been playing for about a year, but only regularly since about March. I play Heavy mode mostly 6, 7, and level 8 songs. So anyways, I saw the posting about dating DDR girls, so I figured I'd do one about boys. I've met a lot of guys playing DDR, yet none of them are what I'm really looking for right now, but I'm a sucker for any guy who can play a video game like DDR really well. I would love to find a guy who can play really well and be a good boyfriend, thats my dream. Because the other guys I date; I'm like, "Let's go play DDR!" and they act like they're going to the dentist because they have to go with me or something. Girls, I'm sure you can relate. So, yeah, just wanted to put my 2 cents in. But if you're a good lookin guy who can play.... Anyways! I'm glad to be on the board! Hope to talk with all of ya'll soon! |
...you don't want a DDR boyfriend, believe me...at first it will seem like fun, you'll both play just as you had always been,...playing to each others favorite songs even challenging each other...Then, he wont put tokens on his "side", then he'll ask you for your tokens to play against someone else (macho thing) then he will need more time to practice, seriously, for the big tourny, and he'll start to "DDR wonderlust", driving around to beat others at different arcades...I always see it, this one girl watching her bf play while she just tries to be enthusiastic....go, baby go...lol |

Eh man, I don't mind she can be my ddr buddy if not my girlfriend since I do have my eyes on someone special. I like having fun and playing with other people. I love competetion. I DDR to impress and put up a show sometimes, but I do have fun! _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

I feel left out of something here.... We have all of two arcades that are each a 25 min drive away. DDRing isn't a meeting people kind of thing when all you have is the PS2 version.
Think of yourselves as lucky when you have an actual arcade that you can go to and socialize.
I think it would be awesome to have a gf who could ddr.
A friend and I are making a DDR club at our school now, thou. So I haven't lost all hope |

Hmm...DDR girls seem to be as rare as any video game girl. Oh, well. I've still got the StepMania SchizKitty announcer and Cortana from Halo. _________________
