Yeah, I think I've heard(?) of someone on the forums who plays deaf and has to feel the vibration of the bass to judge his/her steps. I forgot who it was, though.

That would be me unless theres other deaf people here but I can still "Hear" the beat just when someone stomps on the pad out of sync...

Oh yeah I just doubled Aed my first song Jane-Jana with 37 greats on doubles heavy on Saturday! first shot at Legend of Maxx on doubles wee, 27 arrows and I was done, and I fluked my way through Sakura Doubles heavy passing with a C.

Why would ya'll be shocked or amazed that a deaf person could play DDR? There a world class ballet dancers that are deaf. I don't get it. Seems a little closed minded. *shrug*

Don't forget Bethoven, one of the greatest composers ever. He was deaf.

Playing DDR deaf? It's possible, but difficult. I've played before without sound and it wasn't that bad, actually.

Playing without the sound and being deaf are two entierly different things.

Personally, I woundn't bother playing if I were deaf, because the music is a big part of it for me. But maybe that's just me...

Im a white man who has almost no rhythm whatsoever.

I might as well be deaf.

I can still play DDR somewhat, thou.

How would you teach a dog to bark morse code???

Would that mean he could tell you when he was hungry??
