i've seen the machine in A-Team videos, and i've seen it with this kid playing a song called beethoven virus double... it's almost like ddr, only the buttons are on the corners, and you have to hit the middle... i've never seen this game in real life, just in the videos, so i have no idea what it's called |

It's called Pump it Up. It's a korean dancing game that is kind of like the unofficial rival to ddr. It's fun, but people still rip on it because it's different. _________________

I forget the site, but anyway, if you look on Ebay, you can find Pump it Up the perfect collection for like $80 and theres a link to the site that sells them. (The same guy always has pump it up on ebay) I would consider anyone who likes DDR to grab it, its great. Although, I'm more used to the diagonals because I think its better then left right up and down. _________________

This game is not available on anything but the PC. I would save your money and stick with DDR. But hey, that's only my opinion. _________________

Yeah pump it up is pretty good. I dont mind it, although its not that hard to get used to if u play ddr alot. THey have alot more liscenced music from artists but resing them using there own artists. Steps arent that complicated since people dont realize u only need one foot in the middle pad thing to make it activate even though there are 2 feet showing on it lol _________________

arite cool... well, i went to some new arcade that i found (not new, but i didn't know it existed, it's around my college), and they had it... i played beethoven virus double... it wasn't that hard... it was alot of just... "walking" and jumping... not that hard.... w/e though... it's not as good as ddr, however, i do like the center though. and looking at the arrows is harder than DDR. still, ddr is better.... it's more... i don't know the word, but it's like... street fighter... even though art of fighting is basiclaly street fighter by SNK, street fighter is just better for the same reason DDR > PIU, IMHO anyways. |

Wait, let me get this straight. You play Beethoven Virus Double on your first game of PIU ever and passed it? I call BS.
You are aware that the name of the song is simply "Beethoven Virus" and the Double means they were using both sides of the stage? BV Double is a bit more complicated than simply "walking." _________________

i do know what double is....
it's not even that hard.. i remmeber alot of the steps.....
like, i remember some parts that were like...
u/l, center, d/l, d/r, center, u/r... and the one part when u just jump across the pads... it wasn't that hard... i had a coach talkin to me as i was playing, but it wasn't that hard... at least i found it that way... the long part at the end... long stream.. i found that a bit rough, but the air moves and alot of the triple steps weren't much. |
