I agree completely. I'm a very shy person, so if I see a cute guy playing DDR and he's really good, than I have a good excuse to talk to him, and I feel less self-conscious and shy.
 And what's wrong with being obsessed with anime?! Furthermore...

I know a girl who plays DDR..she puts her hands up like a cat,and since everyone mentioned that,she got cat ears..heh.
But I've met 2/3 of my girlfriends through DDR..so..I dunno.

It's a dancing game (at least cool people dance playing DDR  )
Most girls (at least the ones i like and talk to), the only dancers their interested in would be a breaker or something...
A sweaty guy spazzing to hit little arrows on a pad at really fast speeds doesn't exactly look attractive eh?
play DDR for fun or for money, not to get girls, because all you'll get is DDR girls /shrudder

lol... i pity anyone who plays DDR just to get at DDR girls... that's like when white guys try to get in on a freestyle circle and frick up the whole thing (damn skaters who think they're funny)

At first, I was amazed guys actually did play DDR, it looked more like a girl's sport. For the first few times I saw people playing, I was amazed, and generally wanted to talk to the people here who do play. (All these being boys/young men/men/whatever.)
If I were to see these guys walking down the mall, or around in Putt Putt any ole' day, I do not believe I'd speak to them. But, because of this game, it really did attract me to them, and made me want to be friends with them.
