I am sick and tired of bar huggers am i the only one hear who hates them?!!?!?!

i cant stand going to the arcade and watching retards thinking theyr good and they constantly hold the bar. for all of you bar huggers the reason for the bar isnt to hold onto for the whole song its for saftey reasons incase you slip and fall. i sware man next bar hugger i see im going to tweak at!!!!

does anyone else feel this way???

Anyway, I don't hate anyone for the way they play...but I really do depise bar raping. I have absolutely no problem with anyone else who does it...I mean, if helps the person play a little better, then why not? (to each his own...)

But I absloutely will NOT hold the bar for ANY longer than I need to (I'll keep my balance on things like Drop Out's 2nd jump set IF I NEED TO) and then I'll let the bar go as soon as I can regain my balance.

This may be a reason I can't pass songs that I can read like 300, MaxX, and Cartoon Heroes (or most of the other really hard songs with anything above a "B"), but I'll learn to do these things upright.

I dont touch the bar ever. My friends and I make fun of all who rapes the bar (a little hold here or there for balance is nothing). All im saying is that its ok to touch but not rape. Where did the bar hugging saying come from. Isnt it bar raping?

I am sick and tired of water drinkers. Am I the only one here who hates them?

I can't stand going to the arcade and watching retards thinking they are good when they are constantly drinking water. For all of you water drinkers the reason for water isn't to drink it's to wash yourself in case you get dirty. I swear man, next water drinker I see I'm going to get angry at.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Sheesh, take a break and let people play the game any way they want...

I do use the bar and I don't mind if someone looks down on me for it, theres plenty of people who look down on me just for playing the game itself. It's the same situation, as long as you're having fun and enjoying the game it doesn't matter how others see you.

For me there are only a few songs I have to use the bar on just to pass:

Legend Of Max (B with bar)
Paranoia Survivor death runs (B with bar)
PSM and MaxX I have yet to even pass, so I will use the bar until I pass them consistently.

And that's it, however if I'm trying to FC Max300 I will use the bar, even though I can ace it without, I fund my accuracy much better while using the bar to stabilize.

ppl who waste my time in line who sit there for like 5 minutes after every song drinking water really piss ppl off and if u check the dictionary thing on ddrfreak it IS called bar hugging but bar rapping i use to insult ppl and let them know im better then they are

Max573 bar rappers arnt even dancing there moving there legs and thats about it. we do look down on you because while WE try things the normal way and dont have crappy balance, thats like taking away a part of the game we have to concentrate on several things while u bar rapers only have to concentrate on 3

1. arrows
2. where your feet are
and
3. how damn retarded u look

I hug the bar when I'm playing the Maxx's. And for good reason: so I can get an idea of how to approach the song the next time I do it. Kinda like baby steps to doing the song with just pure stamina and quick legs. It's a helping aid and I'm starting to see that.

As for the original poster, good thing you're in Fargo-country. I've already seen enough nut-cases in Vegas

It's the person playing's money... If they want to hang on to the bar, let them... If they want to play Let Them Move for every song everytime they go up... It's their money... Why should you care about what/how anyone else plays... They're not hurting the machine in any way...

I'm not going to even classify who I play DDR, so no comment. But I have nothing against bar rapers and drinkin water before you play your Final Stage. Do you expect us to die after doing a very tiring song like Max 300 or whatever. You gotta be kidding me, unless you got super stamina go right ahead. You act DDR is like being in a war, like in football players play in pain no matter how severe the injury is, and some coaches put players with periods with no water during them hot days. Are you callin people like that sissies? Whoever made that comment, is makin stupid comments. I got mad at asians cause I was tryna AAA 5.1.1 light, really how stupid is that. No, it wasn't me that did it.

I don't mind using the bar every now and then, and don't feel ashamed cause even the best players use the bar. Take, Yasu, Aaron, and many others. I hope this thread gets locked!
